wah alexei..thx alot man..ur answer i think is the most accurate among other forumers i asked about this problem..so ok then..if LED lights up, means got problem..i understood now..i read the CDI manual and it says if the light is up these thing might happens...

1) er something wrong with my battery...battery kong..maybe
2) rectifier kong..
3) fuse snap
4) rectifier has a limiter..

conclusion..i might have to change to a higher amp rectifier and battery is it?...well any recommendation on the what type or brand should i change these part to?...

@STP (short for sangtupperware, hope you don't mind), need to check which one giving problem... this one I honestly no experience.

From what I can tell, this racing CDI need hi-current to drive it. When current high, it will pull the voltage down. When voltage drop too low, it'll 'cut'.

When does the LED light up? When idling? Medium revving? Hi-revving?
When the LED light up, try kacau the CDI wiring connection and see if that makes any difference?

When cold in the morning, turn on key but don't start engine, press the horn. Does it sound normal? Can use electrical starter? This will tell if your battery ok or not.

My guess would be that you need a capacitor at the CDI input.

Aaron, i found out the one at LS is not ori yamaha thai cdi le.. duno what chaplang brand..

Kun, that is the cdi lo.. but got cut off or not we duno lo.. but sure cheap..

if anyone got kangtao about cdi pls let us know lo..

Err if u buy the set of rear disc brake without the SportRIm.. u need to modify a bit of your ori sport rim.. if not how to attact the brake to your s.rim ? Most ppl just changed together with the new S.RIm
