Error message (if any) ?

1. remove completely any existing PC / OVI suite using http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-s...c-suite-cleaner
2. reboot the computer
3. freshly reinstall again PC / OVI suite (do not connect the fone upon finish installation)
4. reboot the computer
5. get ready with USB cable and the phone, wait till the startup PC / OVI icon loads at the clock
6. start PC / OVI
7. connect the phone immediately upon requested by the application and select PC Suite at the phone menu when prompted
8. Syncronise according to ure desire

feedback the result here icon_rolleyes.gif

wat u mean by time reset? define .. issit the time showing not accurate? maybe u can try below method ..

Automatic Answering Issue

Example Issue
- Have a weird problem with the device clock whereby the date / time is not accurate and/or resets to inaccurate date/time everytime I restart / reboot the device.

Solution
- The regional settings of the phone is not accurate according the current country where the phone is based with the user currently. Try this ..

1. Menu key -> Settings -> Phone -> Date and Time -> Time Zone (Scroll and select desired country)
2. Press BACK key once and again ..
3. Menu key -> Settings -> Phone -> Date and Time -> Time (Set the accurate current time)
3. Menu key -> Settings -> Phone -> Date and Time -> Date (Set the accurate current time)

Important note: Set the regional settings to your country eg. MALAYSIA which has timezone +08:00 when you newly purchase the device and then re-set the date and time according to current country eg. MALAYSIA (see your watch for the time and calendar for the date) tongue.gif .

Optional note: Always use the WORLD CLOCK function if u intend to travel abroad, in here you can set HOME COUNTRY time as default and change countries to where you are travelling by keeping the HOME COUNTRY time intact.

Problem solved !

Hi bro my problem is every time after i off my phone the time will set to default time (manufacture time 10/1/2010, time 0:00). So i need to re-enter the date and time. Other setting set by me is still there though like wallpaper etc. I dunno why this thing happen. This problem was not there earlier when i used until 1 week + ago it came. Last 2 days I update the firm to version....042 latest one but the problem still there sad.gif
