The only difference between Ori and AP is warranty term only. Ori Set can claim warranty at any Nokia Care Center (NCC) in Malaysia. The common warranty is covered by 12 months. While Ap set can claim warranty at the shop or the AP compnay which you bought from. The common warranty is 12months - 36 months (may vary depending on certain AP companies' policy). But, bear in mind that, Ori warranty will always secure than AP warranty. Why say so? Ori warranty, will cover all the problem on your phone, unless you did some warranty void issue(click here for more information.Here). When you send your phone to NCC for claim warranty, they will try their best to settle your problem. On the other hand, AP company, they might refuse to fulfill obligation when you try to claim warranty from them. They may give you those lame and lousy excuse, such as your phone drop at floor, fall in water, damage by yourself, and so on...Why they will try to do so? By common senses, if you are small trader (not same as Nokia ORI which has large market share), has limited financing resources, will you try to avoid from giving customers warranty? Seliing 1 phone may only get RM 20-100 profit, but giving customers warranty (for eg motherboard malfunction), which need more than hundred RM to repair it, will you want to repair for customer as you are the small trader and has a limited financing resources? Now , some people might have doubt about why got alots of peoples argue that some AP set is cheaper in quality, provided AA quality's accessories instead of ORI, and others negative news... All of this, is due to some dishonour seller change the ORI part by replace AA quality, then sell out the ORI part o get a higher profit. (only some fishy seller will do so, not all ) As conclusion, always recommend buyers to buy AP set from those familiar and reputable AP companies. Or else, try to go for ORI set if the price range is not much different and affordable.
