Emm...at my condo unit, there isn't a water pipe at the balcony. All of the time, I have to carry buckets of water from the toilet to the balcony to clean the floor and water the plants; do u think it is possible to install a water pipe at balcony and what are the procedures?

I don't think it's advisable to install one at the balcony at an apartment.
You would need to hack the walls and then sealed the pipes (you wouldn't want piping to be seen right?) and it might interfere with the building's structure. You could always buy a bucket with wheels or trays with wheels to wheel the bucket to the balcony. Do write in to the management and see what they have to say about it. |

QUOTE(leongal @ Aug 22 2010, 03:45 PM) Emm...at my condo unit, there isn't a water pipe at the balcony. All of the time, I have to carry buckets of water from the toilet to the balcony to clean the floor and water the plants; do u think it is possible to install a water pipe at balcony and what are the procedures? Could be a quick and easy DIY job depending on whether the closest water outlet e.g. balcony is next door to bathroom. Else, I don't think it's worth the trouble. Don't think it will require any approval either. Good luck! |

u or the plumber must know what's in the wall.
which wall can drill & which one or rather which part cannot. if there's a bathroom or kitchen just next to the balcony, simple job. |

How about getting a sufficient length of hose and then attach it to the nearest tap and go hose down the balcony? When not in use you can just roll up and store the hose away.
