Newcastle kicked Villa's ass with 6 goals... Good for us?

Hmmm....I guess so. They seem to miss Milner, no? tongue.gif But I don't see Villa being genuine contenders for top 4 spot this season after O' Neill's resignation anyway. biggrin.gif

Kuyt confirms Inter Milan offer
Sunday 22nd August 2010 12:46

Kuyt: In a 'luxury situation'

Dirk Kuyt claims Liverpool have been made an offer by Inter Milan for his signature and the Dutchman is weighing up his options.

The Dutchman's agent revealed earlier in the week that the Serie A giants were keen to take his client to Italy.

The reigning European champions are currently bossed by ex-Anfield chief Rafa Benitez, and he has been linked with a number of his former charges.

Among those the Spaniard is hoping to snatch is hard-working winger Kuyt.

Benitez is well aware of the many qualities the Holland international could bring to his side and is reported to have lodged a £15million bid.

Kuyt has stopped short of revealing the details of the offer put to Liverpool, but has admitted that an approach has been made.

He has given no indication as what he intends to do next, but is reported to have told a Dutch newspaper: "On Thursday night, during the Europa League game against Trabzonspor, the board of Liverpool informed me officially that they have received a fax from Inter.

"You can call this a luxury situation for me now."

Kuyt, who has 70 international caps to his name and turned out in this summer's World Cup final, has been with Liverpool since 2006.

Based on posted info, you still need to pay the other 5 mil on 2011.
So it is still a 20 mil deal. Whether it is installment or how the installment deal, it doesn't affect the total/initial amount dealed.

Somemore with loan out, mean it is still a Liverpool player which run its course of original contract signed.
Just wages may not need to pay for loaning out player.

So basically, you save the wages by loaning out the player, but since the players contract still running, aka the nearer the contract expired, the less value of resale value.

If the news are right, the supposed loan deal of Aquilani to Juventus included a clause where Juventus can buy Aquilani anytime during the deal.In other words, as long as we offload him before 30th June 2011, we will be able to save that 5m, providing that the news and the detail reported are correct.

Nothing to worry about, if Aquilani does well, good for him and we can save the 5m.If he doesnt do well, no big deal, we still save on the wages for this whole season and a good chance for the youngsters to step up and shine. The most important thing is to get him back to fitness for next season, if he stays, that is.

0-1 win is good enough already.
Man City is not a so so team especially at home.

Liv away record always not good to start with.
RH with Fulham time, away record also not something very good.

RH will play a VERY defensive game again wif Torres as the lone striker.....

why he hav to play Torres?

because Torres is FAST and he will take 2 MC defenders to trail him , RH will pack 5 defenders and Gerrard will be the link to any attack upfront
