lwliam: Awesome place for travel..Taiwan, I love that place! Where are you visiting there? I wish you a non-rainy night if you're visiting 101 at night for better photos from within and from the outside! I got foggy ones due to rain =(

Edit: Shit, just to confirm..that IS a photo of Taiwan...right?

much better.

try to clone out that tiny telecommunication tower and then reduce the noise if possible. should look better  thumbup.gif
*
i let the tower stay, to show a minute hint of technology invasion in a serene landscape.

reducing noise will cause lost in certain amount of sharpness.

p/s: i still prefer the 1st one though, thanks v.much for the comments though smile.gif

QUOTE(Deerc @ Sep 10 2010, 12:53 AM)
Hmm , will try. But under low light condition very hard to get focus. Even switch to MF the zoom assist is useless under low light cause too much noise...
*
zstan, there's no need for caps there.

deerc, NEX uses contrast AF which performs quite poorly in low contrast areas like skies with little clouds (even dSLRs would face problems if there were no clouds at all), dark environments etc.. the camera just couldn't figure out where are the contrast edges, since to the camera, there doesn't seem to be any to lock on to.

by the way, i absolutely LUB the twilight mode... wub.gif

using hex screwdriver (allen key) size 1.5mm (for my a350 body)
open the sticker around the tripod mount and there's 3 screw there..
re-adjust accordingly  brows.gif

fix at your own risk, if you don't know what you're doing, then you're screwed.

zstan, sorry too bored...

duotoned it to remove the deep orange color cast... cropped away the corners and most of the tile flooring to keep things simple, gave it a slight deep vignette to emphasize the eye onto the model

cjlai: does the lens determine the quality and sharpness of a picture more or the body? Thanks
*
lens governs all that...

body determines how noisy your photo is at high ISO.

any white card, even a name card would do just fine nod.gif

+1

i've used this trick tonnes of time on the run when i was still using my F42 back then

or tissue paper also can, instead of holding it at the flash, coz its soft, u hold it at the top like a dangling curtain..

just make sure the name card is clean...or else will get yellow casting

nope, wont have a major effect.. unless the card is colored, then yes it will give a color shift
