hey sifu,

thinking of buying a small / pocket-able camera that can compliment my DSLR, and also to allow me to carry around day in day out.

Im not asking for state of the art tech, just a camera that allow plenty of manual control just like DSLR except the bulky size.

I dont need those m43 change lens features, i just need a simple pns for day to day street photography.

Is S95 good for me?

yup, good enough.

s95 is on par with LX5 (IQ wise), plus s95 is very pocketable (slim, small compact)

I think depends on the user
I believe 8gb won't be enough for me biggrin.gif
some more bro niwooe sell 32gb class 10 for RM250 only with free shipping

btw I heard from the seller, using memory card class 4 will result to bad video quality or error when playing
anyone know is it true or not ?

I still cant get bokeh effects sad.gif I tried using the lowest aperture and Macro mode but I noticed that most of the time, I need to zoom in which means the aperture increased. Even without zoom, I still had difficulty achieving bokeh.

The thing I still dun quite understand is how to make the background seems further. Any advice anyone? What am I doing wrong?

dont compare with the effects achieve with dslr la... but still ok ma, as long as ur background has a significant distance from ur object, it can be done smile.gif

that was what i tot so too. the lense WAS dirty. so i used abit of 'perfume' and used the cotton butt to clean it up and it was cleaned.

but stil the pic quality isnt as good as before. i really dono if its just me being too picky. closed up, i can still see alot of pimples and poreholes. BUT still, the entire pic just seem blury to me.

i just bot a lense cover to protect it too. sigh.
