@nncl: don't worry, it's an AMOLED screen at least 800x480, maybe more.

my take is N8 gone to stay at top range for a while, cos it have 12mp camera as for strong selling point flex.gif

I don't care a damn about cameras.Things that matter for me are physical qwerty keyboard, performance & good os.
For me N900 is currently only phone can satisfy my demand. No other phone can beat it's internet experience.

Proper Moorestown based smartphone have to wait till next year I think.
One of the reason why Intel haven't be successful in creating mobile processor as ARM is because they cannot make their processor to work in low current as ARM.Batteries don't last long with their previous attempt.
Ever since Intel announced Atom, they have been spending more time on mobile processors. This time they should have better result.

Feature wise Moorestown better than ARM

my point of view is they shouldn't stick with x86 architecture...
originally Atom r just a tool for them to clear the stock full 945 chipset.....

smallest Atom now in how many nm?? 28??

ARM aiming at 20+ nm at the next A9......

@Patent: Generally the specs people would expect from a high spec mobile device.

At least one released last year. Nokia is behind the times yet again.

I mean, another Snapdragon? A last gen QSD8250 (the Nexus One chip) is not gonna be able to hold a candle to the next gen dual core chipsets that are gonna be released by December.

So Nokia, why? A 1ghz Cortex A8 would have been sooooooo much better (I'm an OMAP person after all). Or an A9. Or a Samsung Hummingbird.

At least that 1GB Nand storage shows promise, especially if some of it is used for swap rather than just rootfs space.

Still, it's just a rumour.

BUT if Nokia decides to dump last gen specs on a flagship device AGAIN this December, let's just pray that Meego is mindblowing enough to make people forget.

here is another leaked spec from gsmarena:
http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_n9__specs_sh...d-news-1890.php

i think nokia is following n8's design from now onwards...i really dislike the top and bottom part, which looks like not long enough, or not short enough...seems hanging...
if n9 dont have the silver frame surrounding the black screen, it will sure look nice to me...

too many speculation on the specs...

they seem like a wishlists rather than true specs.
