Proper Moorestown based smartphone have to wait till next year I think.
One of the reason why Intel haven't be successful in creating mobile processor as ARM is because they cannot make their processor to work in low current as ARM.Batteries don't last long with their previous attempt.
Ever since Intel announced Atom,they have been spending more time on mobile processors.This time they should have better result.

Feature wise Moorestown better than ARM

good browser is a win for me lo. navigation gps and camera also will decide if I get my hands on the phone. spec are awesome, but software is yet undecided. hurm...

i wish the sensor of camera is better XD... but that is not really important, as long as can beat the iphone 4 can already...or iphone 5 XD...

N95 time,nokia phone far far leading.dual arm11 336mhz if i not mistaken ya?

Early Symbian era, Nokia phones was very popular loh.... 3650, N-Gage, 6600, etc... Not much competition like now also... Plus, we can install N-Gage games on other non n-gage devices and bluetooth gameplay... 6600 with the "joystick"; This phone is a grenade! Plus, back then, others were so hyped with those "java" games, which is... er...
Then load N-GAGE KOF on 6600/3650, it's unbelievable.

Back then, I'm not sure much people check about the specs/cpu. Back then was when smartphone started its era, and I remember got debate between smartphone vs non-smartphone (aka dumb phone), and about the ridiculous price to pay for a non-smart phone 
Back then, also so many apps to find for Symbian, and people easily get excited over small things, hahaha; Nowadays it's totally different.

But it was also during Nokia smartphone era, that gets more problem? The early Nokia Smartphone, all comes with mono speakers; Those who change, complain about the sound quality, etc. We have to set it to 22Khz, etc so that it don't "pecah" and still sound good. Also got talk about "upgrading" the internal speakers with SE one, haha.
Somehow, those days, the Symbian seem more stable? LoL    Perhaps it's more simple...
Haha, I got Windows Mobile back then, not really much choice also; I got the Motorola MPX200, back then, Windows Mobile phone was still so new in the market; I can only say, the experience is different from Symbian; Symbian is better in terms of mobile phone usage, good contact book, groupings, ringtone assignments, SMS, etc.
Windows Mobile? You kind of need more technical skills, mess with the registry, to actually customized the phone more and make it more interesting; Plus, there's quite a lot of problems with it; I use it as my 2nd phone, not reliable to be a primary phone.

N8 have in-body stabilization for video, but need to turn it on I think. Not sure for picture.

The continuous auto-focus for video mode, N8 can get it unofficially; But the next Symbian Anna update might have this for video.

For picture, I think it might have more issue as the camera needs to be fast, which most compact digital camera also cannot achieve I think.

And damm, only certain models have it.  WHY?

Yea. Optical depends on the lens, which I don't think it's possible for camera phone.

Yea, N73; but I think the N series era they start to change? And with the introduction of Xpress Music Edition.
Last time Nokia phones has some sort of category right? I also can't remember specifically already
2 series for budget?
3 series for casual?
5 series for sports
6 series for workers (built tough, got one model got the construction hat, haha, and can go underwater up to certain level)
7 series, designer?
8 series, class?
9 series, communicator for business professional

Then comes N series and so on, things started to change.

The ringtone composer actually have limitation; I think you there is the speed limitation and tone length limitation; Then I use some software to compose it, then need to buy stupid cable to transfer to the phone and the cable I think is specific to certain phone only. But luckily we can send ringtone on certain models?

Haha; Last time easily get excited over small things...
e.g.
OMG, BLUE LED llights!!!
Then... OMG, you got WHITE one...
Some purposely go change the model for the blue color... e.g. 3310 --> 3315.
Then suddenly... COLOUR SCREEN. WTH?
Then more and more colour.... all so fast back then.
For normal/monophonic ringtones,... then got "polyphonic", wow! All go crazy
Then wav/mp3, those who still use the monophonic or polphonic ringtone will get a funny look from others.

That time people easily get excited over small things. Nowadays, you need to do more to get people excited and attention.

Yup true, just that recover late, is hard to get back those people who have switch and printed on their mind. So, it's better to prevent or quickly do something. Nonetheless, we can only share our opinions and point of view. It's up to Nokia to make the move.

Don't know Garmin will make one for MeeGo, but if MeeGo gets popular, then maybe? Maybe will have PapaGo?

In DSLR, continuos focus is focus continuosly changing to focus on subject. Used for fast moving subject.

Yea, actually based on focus point, unless you set it to 3D tracking or Face Detection, or whatever your camera brand calls it.
For photo, DSLR can achieve it easily because it's AF is fast and the performance is fast, you can spam shutter as well.

For digital camera, when you click the shutter key, it take some time to record down the image and process it, etc. In low lights, it's even worst. But I think phone camera/compact camera may not really need it much for stills as the depth of field is much wider, unlike DSLR.

I wonder if Apple is gonna file a lawsuit against Nokia or Meego for copying the way it navigates through the menu as well as the press-hold to activate the delete action for task manager. Or maybe that's why Nokia is waiting for it's lawsuit to end against Apple so that they get to use some iOS features for free during settlement talk.

Swipe to close... That's A FIRST in smartphone. You only need a menu, task manager and a reminder... Hmmm, hmmmm, hmmmmm,...

Did I miss anything important? One would have wonder how Nokia fortune might be if they had this shit a year ago. Definitely not something that wow, but nevertheless comparable to the competition.

I have to applaud Nokia for the phone assembly, it's so Apple'ish. No creaks, no edges, just one smooth piece of classy engineering.

Sometimes Nokia really make you wanna bash them even more. They already think home screen is not important, and yet go all the way to implement a home screen that sucks under S3. It's really clean n yet simple like iOS. Those Symbian freaks should thank Elop for wiping Nokia ass clean from these idiotic Symbian coder.

As mentioned before, this looks like a "refined" N8, just lacks the camera; In fact, it should have come earlier a year ago as you mentioned, as the N8. Imagine this with N8 camera, launched last year.

By the way, this isn't the actual MeeGo... this is the Maemo6/Harmattan, said to be MeeGo Compatible. After this, will be should be the actual MeeGo device.....

I was once put an eye on Samsung Galaxy S2, now i'm waiting for this phone's more detail.. I have so many nokia charger at home and I'm those guy who don't really like too many connectivity issues..
