So here is my cheapsket DIY method.  So i remove the old panel.   Then i cut the new frame using plastic folder which is hard and thickness just the correct size for my project. Transparent plastic for this DIY project is important because you can measure the LCD viewable area through the plastic and draw the lines to cut later.  Measure and test the fittings.  Prepare to stick the sticker and mount the LCD in place with 3m acrylic double tape.  Finally the work is done.... Simple!  Fitted in my car and no gaps at all! everything just nice. |
