hmm... good question. but suitable mivec for waja only available in 1.6. no doubt it offer more fun due to the aggressive behaviour.
but i decide to go ahead and experiment with 4g93t coupled to a mivec head.
1st step was swapping the td05 with s256. and a custom made 'top part' to feed the mivec head properly.
with all the modification, car was good for 3xxbhp when running on twin plate ogura but was keep at 270bhp to protect the the tiptronic gearbox and to serve the purpose as a city car.
i think its all down to individual taste and preference.

basically, it should. never open one.  still using the torque converter thou. only good thing over the conventional auto tranny was it was being able to shift rapidly depending on the driving style. the tiptronic mode only allow for slight engine drag, after that, without downshifting or upshifting, gear still change by itself.
since it was gsrt block and mivec head, can't really call it mivec turbo 
throttle body was the part where the air mix in.
you can check with elton @thundergod_cid, he do a throttle body cleaning as well. car usually feels' lighter after throttle body cleaning.
yeah. soundproofing on 4 doors using the rubber foam, cotton-waste like material and a thin layer of bitumen. diy on all 4 door took me almost 6 hours 
while waiting for the ca glue to dry up, i start working on another door.
btw, sound proofing on the roof panel area is really paid off. esp. during heavy rain.

better response on the throttle i guess.. plus smooths going to higher RPM and easier to gain top speed.. it's feels good coz i did it while service.. so feel the lightness of after service and the performance.. thinking of getting open pod.. plus s-flow muffler..

there is no mivec 1.8 halfcut yet. only comes in new mitsu car.
there is no replacement for displacement. and less worry when running on factory fitted turbo engine  .
chances are you could go for 4g93t sooner cuz' government might impose a stricter law on halfcut import.
i am experimenting with 4g93t with mivec head btw. so far so good after installing the custom made fuel rail. make sure to choose the correct turbine for minimal turbo lag.

My waja 4g18 seems like mis-fire whenever my speed is around 70-90km/h.. Sometimes it started as early as 50km/h..
The mis-fire never happen when I let go my pedal to let it deaccelerate on its own from 90km/h

Before this happened, I only changed my 3pcs of Engine Mounting that is Front, Rear, and the one on the Gearbox Side. I even remove the battery to get the mouting replaced. Then I also used WD-40 to spray on the throttle valve and clean up by a cloth.

After that mis-fire comes in, I first replace the spark plugs. Problem not solved. Then I replace the fuel filter (I shake the fuel filter and pour out some brownish petrol). But till now the problem still occur.

Will it be the problem cause by disconnecting the battery terminal that makes the ECU or something else gone crazy??
Anyone please help~~

I got problem with my waja. My waja is manual. Recently , I need to press my clutch really hard and deep to engage gear. If not, the gear will give me some shitttttttttttt sound. Can anyone give me opinion on what maybe happening and what is the parts that need to be change?
