not sure, 1k - 1.5k? if there isnt a need to change the piston then overall cost 2.5k or so is enuf

an overhaul can also be considered piston ring jobs only, not necessary to change the pistons unless the bore is abit fecked and tolerance is bigger than normal spec.

Another option is to change the cylinder itself, aka sleeves. Costly.

So, car like urs, from the smoothness i sat, seem to be fine. It didnt seem to suffer much loss and Im pretty sure that the bores are fine.
Unless u gatal want oversize... but if oversize also some ppl say no difference, in theory... supposedly to have difference.

Port n polish leh?

no point. why do u wanna change the piston? once u change the piston, u gotta rebore. that costs money

very subjective question. The car has been sitting at COE Shah alam for three years. New belts, timing belt, tires.. all rubber parts i guess as they should all harden already.
You have to check the door seals and also all moving parts such as door hinges, rust on body, etc.

You're better off with a 2004 used pre-CPS, not campro, but 4g18p at the price of <35k

Price is fine lor if 1k plus without crankshaft. But still, evo crankshaft RM300-400. Waja I dont know. Other than the piston rings changed, were the crankshaft bearings changed? Gimme ur invoice and I'll elaborate on what to do to your engine next. You prolly wanna buy some prime additives after the 1k oil change.

ko kena threebond. Pastu yg Flush, ko kena pkai lambda. Flush lain kat market luar i tak brape percaya pasal takleh nak pandu keta time flush dituang masuk. Kalo Lambda(refer to my bottom signature), bleh pandu lagi. Siap naik compression lagi
