Well, im quite satisfied with the car, in terms of pickup, i'm nt hardfooted, so its enough in town driving. but i dont really like the brakes. was in like a slope about 20~30 degrees high and even whole holding the brakes down hard, i still could feel the car SLOWLY moving downwards. not sure if its only my car or what. cornering feels definitely more safer & stabler than myvi. but i felt the steering wheel quite *stiff* lah, compared to my previous car. but overall i'd say its quite a nice car smile.gif.

im facing this stupid funny sound in the front of my car (idk where) when cornering. When im making a turn, and halfway through the turn with my steering wheel steered left or right, if there's a small bump on the road, the front of my car got this hollow vibrating thing, as if like something's loose or what. i asked the sc to check, they said nothing's wrong with the car. quite hard to describe, but anyone facing the same problem?
*
Your assessment of the brakes and handling matches mine as well. I find the brakes and tires useless. Especially in the wet or when going downhill. The handling, however, is better than the cars from Perodua.

Not sure about the sound, though. Can't imagine what it sounds like.

QUOTE(lhwj @ Feb 15 2011, 11:23 PM)
The reserve tank is insanely huge. I normally fill up only when the light comes on and when it does I still can't fill in 30 litres. So with more than 10 litres remaining, theoretically you should probably get at least 100 km until the tank is sucked dry, depending on your right foot and driving conditions (someone earlier ran out after just 65 km). Still I don't think I can recommend driving more than maybe 30-40 km. The safest is to top up as soon as the light comes on and that's what I do.
The FL only contains cosmetic changes and feature additions, mechanically it should be the same as the original so actually anyone of us can tell you how it drives nod.gif
*
This correlates with my own experience regarding the reserve tank. Anyways, I normally refill around +-50KM after the light comes on as well. You're right in that we can't account for driving conditions all the time. E.g. stuck in traffic jam will dramatically reduce mileage.

Yes ^ very true indeed.

What I would do to have your passenger air bag and USB player. laugh.gif

i would like to ask bout the foglamp warranty period. currently my foglamp glass broke. can i claim for SC? will they cover the claim also?
*
Even if your car is one day old and your foglamp gets broken the next day, there's no warranty for that.
My right fog lamp's broken as well but i still havent change it though. Its RM120 for the whole set.

You mean the Center of Service Excellence along KESAS highway? I asked them during my last service, and they mentioned that they have no problems with customer bringing their own oil. I also specifically asked if this will void warranty, they said no. I plan to bring my own oil during the next service to test and see.

Anybody interesting GAB Height Adjustable Coilovers? I'm letting go mine (exchange) at Rm1100 with labour charge. Installed 02092010, used for 5 month so minus Rm500.

A H3 bulb for RM25 is kinda pricey,no?
Btw, its good to hear that CoSE is allowing customers to bring their own engine oil.On the 20k service change, what would be replaced besides the engine oil and filter?i dont see any parts which needs changing according to the manual.

Bro, useless for fuel injection engine which come with lambda sensor (O2 sensor).

The theory is simple, introduce more air inside, the sensor will sense lean mixture (too much air) and inject more fuel to make an 'ideal' mixture, hence the purpose of fuel save is defeated.

Some more the device is at the middle of air filter and intake manifold, means the air suck inside the engine is bypass air filter, which will suck in the dirt that is disastrous for your engine.

My opinion is 'NO GO'. smile.gif

It doesn't matter how much '%' pedal you apply, you must understand if you need a% of fuel to get ur car up to 3k, you will still need a% of fuel to do that even you press less throttle after you add that booster.

Pedal is just the input that tells ECU for how much fuel it needs to inject, and the O2 sensor will adjust +- 10-20% accordingly.
