talking in guildchat is always easier as talking in forum as u can put notes there saying, give me your linen, send me health pots, need frost oil or such like that. You can instantly see who is online and offline. Then we can create ranks, just for fun like rank 1 = babi, then babi besar, then bangsat, and bodoh, then boleh, then baik, then bagus, then BOSS, hahahaha its fun mar right all just for 5silver only, later got some uber guilds come up and everyone go there then cannot make already. Just make a nice tabard tongue.gif

i dunno why but i LIKE wat i read on this sentence............mesti implement this feature..........then we can have our own guild Honor system...........ghahahahhaa

but if u still wanna join us, go take a Priest lor...........we need more dedicated healers...........takut nanti all the Cheatmans go and use all their mana reserves to totem-this, totem-that............btw, how about this for guild name?

< Beli ORI >

to outsiders, they might think it's some kind of funky foreign phrase biggrin.gif
and if they asked, we tell them that it's for a righteous cause laugh.gif

on last check, i noticed the lvl gap between members are steadily growing larger............some just reached lvl 10 while other have past lvl 20..............this might complicated instance runs since a good party should always consist of good mix of classes............also, some might be doing their first instance run so they may be unfamiliar with aggro management as well as looting system (which often leads to internal squabbling)...............

for this situation, i suggest that 1 or 2 experienced players help 'guide' newcomers in their early instance run (RFC or WC is a good start)..........some group formation advice, aggro management, assisting in loot sharing etc

note that i know some of u will not like to be 'bossed' around by all-knowing-players (especially if this is ur first time and want the freedom to learn things on ur own) but when u get repeated wipes and Ninja looting while spending hours inside, u will prefer some kind of organised system in placed..................this is one reason why pickup-instance-groups don't always work out nicely.............

to end, always pack in a good mix party...........warrior + shaman + healer + mage + spare = FTW

btw, does anyone know how the XP distribution system works when a very high lvl grouped with a bunch of low lvls?

say a lvl 30 dude group with lvl 10s inside RFC............will the presence of the lvl 30 dude drain all the XP?

On paku's comment, actually player' level doesnt mean everything, i read on the official forums for this Level 47 warrior posting and asking how come he not yet get his defensive stance? tongue.gif

ROFL............this is why u should always return back to ur class trainer to check up..........i think for most characters, u get some skill upgrades every alternate lvls so pay that lonely trainer a visit lar

here's some group looting advice............

1) ALWAYS N or G BEFORE PASSING ROLLS..............especially for Bind-on-Pickup gear in pickup-groups............Ninjas are abound

1) DON'T INTENTIONALLY LOOT WHEN IN BATTLE............nothing scares Nym the Priest more than a bunch of popup rolls windows in the middle of a 4-5 mob battle laugh.gif ........lose ur priest and it's a nice long walk in non-Technicolor mode

2) DON'T SAY NEED & LATER AUCTION THAT GEAR............nothing gets u labelled as NINJA faster than this.............we got some Dragonmaw examples if u wanna read up

QUOTE(FisshY @ May 9 2005, 02:32 PM)
=================
Fisshy's guide to Guild Economy
=================
I think you our guild is big enough to share things around. The idea is NOT to sell the green/blue bind on equip items before asking if anyone needs it. Try not to use the Auction House to buy stuff unless its really important/neccessary. keep all the money within the guild. The reason u buy from AH is to get better stuff.. right but if everyone asks first and give it to another guildie who needs it, u wont have to buy and waste money in the AH

Certain items are always in demand -
1) Shoulder pads for Lvls less thatn 20 casue its not to common at out level
2) Green items of the bear/tiger (warriors), monkey (rogues, hunters), eagle/owl (casters) and got knows what shamans use tongue.gif will always be in demand
3) Gems (moss agate, shadowgem, etc) for crafting items (blacksmithing/leatherworking/tailoring)
4) If u have spare linen/wool/silk/mageweave/runecloth, send them to tailors so that they can make u bags or other stuff
5) Enchanters, if u need rods, ask the blacksmiths (like me to make for you)
6) If u find any herb from drops/chest send them to alchemist
I also strongly suggest that we appoint 1 (or more if we can afford it) guild enchanter so we can send ALL STUFF THAT NO ONE WANTS (blue or green) to him to disenchant. It might seem a bit of a waste but when u think further in higher levels, useful enchantments can COST a bomb if u wanna buy it from other people u are going to be broke.

The idea is we maintain a close door economy as much as possible, so we get the most out of it and the money/stuff just gets circulated within the guild. I understand that some people will be broke cause of training costs of some classes but we can always share our money right?

what do u guys think?
*
good idea.........especially on enchanting...........coz it's hard to lvl up early on and ppl who are enchanters are always broke (they tend dust green soulbounded instead of selling)..........so can the real Enchanter plz stand up? biggrin.gif

also remember that since Cro can now make 8-slotter woolen bags, pass the 6-slotters to those who need it..............i still have like 2 stacks of Linen in bank..........who else needs them?

QUOTE(da3shou3 @ May 9 2005, 02:49 PM)
Well that's for sure. I do that. But with exception. If certain item with good attribute, and no one need it as upgrade, I AH it. It's better money for value than disenchant those. Those green with crappy stats (cloth with str/agi, mail with int/spi for example) I will send to our enchanter. Those AH items that expired too if nobody buy. wink.gif

As for the herbs that you get from chest, just throw it away unless you got nothing else to carry. You'll prolly wasting like 3/4 slots just to hold a mageroyal or whatever low-lvl herbs.
*
ARGH.......will send KillaKat to hunt u down for wasting precious herbs cry.gif ..........no more weed for Asta laugh.gif

Edit : Since Syck has grown to almost double the initial members, wanna retake another group photo? thumbup.gif too bad our tailor not high enough to make tux........can mark it as the 1-week aniversary of guild Syck

i think most Syck members would generally have no problems with the new regulations.............as long they don't go around public cursing in the general chat or Ninja when grouping with others, the new rules is just like an extension to your normal day-to-day behaviour............so play nice (i know being a nice Horde can be extra challenging) and don't do to others what u don't want to be done on u (note that this doesn't apply to Alliance........show them no <3)

but if u do encounter cases where other misbehaving Hordes pissed u off (such as Ninjas), try to stay cool and take a screenie of the incident so that we can all be aware of such fellas.............perhaps once our guild presence has been established, we can begin to flex some inter-guild political muscle laugh.gif

anyway, guild raids and other events will probably start once we get more members around lvl 20++.............then we can start moving in packs across Contested Zones to places u guys fancy a visit such as Gurubashi Arena.............

Actually... To go to Gnomeregan you need go to through a portal at Booty Bay. Not sure why it is dangerous.
*
true..........that's why i'm eager to try the teleporter there............reason why it is considered dangerous is that unless u entered the instance itself, u are still inside Alliance sector............first strike PvP belongs to them...............unless somehow Gnomeregan behaves otherwise.............

for me, Scarlet Monastery is a good farming ground for Hunters and Shamans coz the uber Mail drops there will serve us well at lvl 40 laugh.gif

life as a Hunter in PvP is a sure twist compared to my previous Fury Warrior............

last time when soloing, my Warrior always chase and charge into soloing opponents............dunno why but they tend to flee from me when one-on-one............in group PvP however, they always gang-bang my Warrior first so death was pretty frequent............

now for Hunter, even with the mighty KillaKat on my side, they are more daring and will chase me when i'm soloing............winner depends on who ambush who first............but in group PvP, Hunters feels safer coz they always go after the casters and Warriors, leaving me and KillaKat to pick our target...........

QUOTE(da3shou3 @ May 16 2005, 12:52 PM)
bear > turtle. same hp. same armor. eat everything though. tongue.gif
*
mmhhmmmmm........KillaKat loves to eat Fish........especially nice smelly undead Fish...........especially the one always in front wan, tanking and bleeding nice juicy blood biggrin.gif

anyway, for those are playing Hunters, here's my recommendation for pet management

1) KNOW UR PET - tame and keep different beasts so that u can switch them accordingly for different scenarios. Some lazy ones are too c2pid to learn any other skills so DON'T BOTHER. Others are fussy eaters who eat lame foods like fungus and fruit, so again DON"T TAME...........to keep it short, here's my recommendation for the 4 types of pets

High HP, Low DPS - Bear (eats all shit and clever enough to learn all skills but slow attack speed)
High DPS, Low HP - Cat (also clever and got high attack speed but abit fussy eater)
Higher AC, Low DPS - Turtle (not so clever, also fussy eater and slow attack speed)
Jack-of-All-Trades - Wolf (fast attack speed but not as clever and very fussy eater)

Also, most beast in the same family has same stats upon taming except for attack speed............so taming Echyakee or King Bangalash = pretty pu55y but still lose to KillaKat (The-Pet-formerly-known-as-Rake).............this applies even to elites one...........so choose ur pet properly and don't focus too much on just the pretty ones

2) KEEP PET HAPPY - always keep pet happy by feeding and not letting him die too often (<= LAME Hunter)...........keep a stock of ready food handy (especially in long instances)............take up fishing so that u can t1u yi at VC's doorstep while waiting for lame group members who died to come back............in all, Happy Pet = more damage, more training points upon lvling and more obedient...........

3) TRAIN UR PET - always take time to go tame silly faraway beasts so that u can learn & teach new Pet skills.........Cower lvl 1 on Onyxia = dead Pet, silly Hunter...........so go on road trip across the beautiful world of Azeroth to find other beasts to tame temporarily...................like a one-night stand, just tame, feed, action & dump..........AND REMEMBER TO STABLE UR MAIN PET FIRST............don't masuk all the way into BRS to tame Bloodaxe Warg only to realise ur pet is still with ya.............

4) USE PET PROPERLY - though fairly useless in PvP (sorry Killa, /sooth), pets can be a fairly annoying factor in a large chaotic battle............KillaKat's high attack speed is useful to interrupt those nasty spellcasting and force the caster to run around, disrupting their pretty formation...........Killa's also can chase down those fleeing stranglers who have only a flicker of HP left.............if he succeeds, one HK for me.............but that usually is a suicide run for Killa (/sooth KillaKat again)
