I brought 2 cars to do the tinted and option for the best tints they have.. But they did a very poor job on my first car. Which has bubbles here and there.. Plus the back tint has some hair within the tint film.. But that is not serious.. As I thought there is warranty to fix it. The serious issue now is.. When I bring in my brand new Beetle that I just gotten 3 days ago to do the tint.. Which I option for the best one again.. After the tint job was done.. I notice there is many Major Scratches at the back bumper of my brand new beetle which i just did waxing and coating..!!!! Now I have to spend additional money to do the polishing on that area.. I SUGGEST TO ALL, IF YOUR CAR IS NEW AND HAVE A VERY NICE PAINT JOB.. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THIS SHOP EVER IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR.. YOU'LL TOTALLY REGRET!! I'll post up the picture later that my car is doing the polishing because of this tint shop!

Sometimes the problem starts from worksmanship. Just ain't good.

first of all,

i thank you for coming back to us for your second car even after you have encountered some issues on the first car or i put it this way,after you have so much complaints or negative thoughts on us..i do appreciate customers coming back to us which i strongly believe that we have positive points that lead them back to us.

coming back to your feedbacks and im in need of explaining the whole scenario for others to judge as it is not fair to judge solely on your speech.by far,majority of my customers are satisfied with our work and even if they are not too happy with it,we would try our best to solve their problems,we would sit down and see what we could do or we would make it to the point to ensure that customers and i reached a mutual consensus.Now i understand that customers are always right and no doubt customers are always our main priority and i always believe in mutual respect between customers and us.Customers deserve to be respected so do us.

Your girl made a call to us and she was yelling the whole time the moment we answered the call,we were not given any chance to reach out for you and immediately threaten to put down "bad" feedbacks if we do not want to pay for the touch up. (i assume you put this comment down right BEFORE she made that call from the time showed) .Customers totally have the freedom to put down bad feedbacks about us and they totally deserve freedom of speech in any way but not to the extent of touching the law of libel. Having a law background definitely makes a better business.

i spoke to your girl and i agreed to pay for the touch-up without hesitation. In fact when the call was made,the car was sent in for touch up already which basically means you did not communicate with me before hand and insist that we pay for it . (this is not a norm to us but we made it an exceptional case for you as your girl was pretty emotional through the phone and the bill was reasonable for that amount of touch-up) . You assumed that we caused a micro fine line scratch on your bumper which i think its not appropriate to argue the fault of it now) and i even spoke to the repair man about the scratch and cost of touching up. You forgot to mention that we are paying for the touch up bro.

so,the conclusion of the case,we have agreed to pay for the touching up part and we will issue you the cheque next week once we got the official receipt from you.We truly apologize for the inconvenience caused and the side effect / pain we have inflicted on you and your luxury car.

Firstly, not that u have any good points that's why I'm returning.. It's just an second chance thingy.. Everyone deserves one.. But too bad.. You guys screwed it.. I actually did told my friends to give this none branded and not so popular tinted shop a chance.. But after that day.. I just ask them to consider else way..

Secondly, yes my girl is emotionally yelling to you on the phone.. But put it this way.. You just got your spanking brand new car just 3 days.. Then went for the coating.. Which looks exceptionally good.. Which you paid the extra cost for it.. Then you went to this shop for tinting.. Thought it might look even better.. BUT... Huge disappointment.. done my car last saturday opted for the high end package,overall satisfied with the service and tint job provided by miss canny and team. The waiting time was a tad longer but understand as her business is really good.

previous car was done at her place 2 years back,still alive and kicking.

Nickyrox, giving them a second chance; Canny is appreciative and I appreciate that chance on her behalf too. However, if your girl is all emotional after getting her car scratched, I would highly suggest that you play your role as "the right one for her" by calming her down and thinking rationally before taking the next step or making any moves or phone calls to Canny or Andy, her husband. Tantrums are not to be thrown around, but controlled. Couple of hours down the road, did your girl think back about what she said or yelled? Did she feel bad about it? Can she go to bed at night in peace? Everything can be settled with a sit-down talk after she starts to think straight again. Does shouting and yelling help in any way? Answer is NO. There is a very fine line between emotions and judgement my friend.

If you auto detailer came up with that kind of comment on WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO YOUR CAR, he runs his business with full of arrogance, insanity and hatred. Not humbleness nor an open heart. Most of my threads are with a little arrogance, sorry to say but this is to filter out the mainstream sentence "PM me best price please". I am a totally different person by nature especially when you meet me for my products.

I myself am a customer, a boss, an employee, a businessman, and own one of the most successful threads in the Automotive Garage. I treat my customers with care, hoping for the best. If I've done any mistakes, I'd truly apologize. As a customer, if someone screwed my car up unintentionally, I'd understand and forget about it as I know that they didn't mean to screw it. An accident is an accident, it cannot be avoided and it cannot be called an accident if it didn't happen accidentally by accident. Being oblivious though, damaging one's property by acting stupid is a different story; this is unprofessional. What I am trying to say is that Canny and her team of dudes did not have the intention to scratch your bumper. On top of that, how long do you plan to keep the Beetle scratchless? It's a car. It's a bumper. You absorb impacts; else, what is your bumper for?. IF you want it flawless throughout the next X amount of years, good luck with that. I've spend 3grand to repaint my car that's worth 8grand. The next thing you know? Someone rubbed the corner of my bumper down while coming out of a parking. What can I do? REPAINT LAH, it's #LIFE . Have you any idea that your car is prone to nature? Stone chips perhaps? Maybe, maybe not. You can wet sand your car down, use designated sponges, designated polish compound, glaze, countless steps, all for a mirror finish. The moment you hit the roads, you'd get a stone chip on the hood and front bumper. I can confidently tell you that your clear coat is no longer as thick as it used to be before you sent your car for detailing.


Canny did the right thing by agreeing to pay for the damage without any hesitation. This is out fo goodwill. Trust me or not, 8 out of 10 of the shops in the Automotive Industry won't even bother. Most famous shops are struggling to stick to appointments. This is contributed by a few factors :

- Initial customers late
- Flaws. Difficulty removing old tints on cars of earlier customers
- Employees slowing down due to nature and difficulty of work
- Lunch hour. But I assume that Canny's team rotates their lunch hour accordingly so that job is carried out continuously.

The last tint shop I went made me wait two hours. I told them that they have to improve on this. The sales rep repeatedly apologized and said he will work on it. End of story. This is not to br brought up anymore. On the bad workmanship, Canny already agreed to re-do the tint. Or she will, if she has yet to do so. You mentioned that time is money. I agree with you. Most of us merchants have more money than time and am trying to please customers by allocating more time and less money wholeheartedly. This only applies to a handfull of us.


YOU, as a customer, may think that customers are always right. But hey, please do not hesitate to put yourself into our shoes and think for a moment, from a different point of view with an open heart and mind. I'm not flaming you nor am I on anyone's side. I'm just saying what is right. THINK.

thanks boss elton for coming forward.

i wish to put this issue to rest as i have already issued him a cheque to bear the cost of touching up.I will take this as a lesson and glad to have gained more experience there and then.

there is no need to dig up my past profession and put them to use for now as i believe everyone has no intention to defame us but mere anger for things that happened.Anyhow i still apologize for all the trouble caused to my customer as i have to take care of my customers' feelings.

as for the bad tint job that you have claimed to be,we are willing to rectify it as told earlier.sorry once again for giving u an unpleasant experience here with us.

Hope you remember ,Accord 06, as agreed I came on monday 6:30pm ,you were not there so I saw your staff and he agreed to sort the problem by three working days (tint out of stock)

the front windscreen requirements from JPJ is 70% vlt. But i see the protech v85 package at VLT60% and mentioned full installation at all windows, i'm quite afraid should JPJ kacau.

any other suggestion that i could take for front and back?

ah im sorry bro ,we have allowed customers to decide their VLT but we encourage customers to go for legal ones which is 70% for front,50% for sides.

hope i have clarified this issue bro smile.gif

i came back to canny then one of staff explained that its normal. must wait within 2 week and the bubbles gone.

yea dont worry...just give it some time to dry off bro...bubble may be caused by air or water trapped inside...anyhow we will be responsible on it.moreover u took 7 mil so its kinda thick..it takes longer time... icon_rolleyes.gif
