QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 13 2010, 10:09 PM) that's dust on your sensor or mirror... No need go Nikon centre clean, just get a blower, detach your lens, do a mirror lock-up (can do this in menu) to lift the mirror and blow air upwards into the sensor. Just don't touch the sensor, only blow. then the dust will be gone, most probably. Unless it's a sticky dust which cannot be blown off, then u need to send to service centre. yeah...give it a hard blow...if its worrisome for u just go to service centre if its under warranty they can do it for without any fee

QUOTE(Vampyr3 @ Aug 14 2010, 10:26 AM) Hi guys, need some C&C so i can improve on my shots...... 1st and 2nd pic HDRed but the rest just minor editing....pass? I love the 3rd and 5th shot! I am starting not to like HDR shot as much nowadays. After I heard Photomalaysia dood said an interesting thing that, "HDR photo you can never tell what time is the photo taken, which takes away some of the story and the feeling you get while looking at the photo."

Thanks, i prefer normal shots as well....fiddling with photomatix for the HDRs....hehe I had a prob with my Prostar filter the other day as well, got stuck to my lens.......had to set my lens to the longest zoom range and grip the lens barrel, then used a piece of cloth for better grip to unscrew the filter.....so scared my filter/lens break coz can hear squeaking sound like metal grating when removing it! Last time my friend dropped her DSLR and her filter is totally crooked and struck into the lens, ouch!!
