I see, thanks. I am using a Pro Tama UV on my 18-55 and it seems quite susceptible to scratch. Normally I only wiped it with those smooth fabric cloth (used for glasses those kind). How much do a Hoya one normally cost? 52mm, not Pro1 series. |

Last time my friend dropped her D5000 and had the filter penetrate through the front lens element.  She sent it to Times Square and paid RM300++ for the repair fee and it takes only like 1 week. So, maybe, just maybe, sensor cleaning might be cheaper.  |
