im happy with it n decided i dun nid 17-50/17-55 f/2.8 lens
im always using my 50mm, n when i use my 18-55 is for landscape n group photos, large aperture arent needed
VR + D5000 ISO + SB900 is gud enuf for me

With sufficient lighting 18-55 does good IQ actually

Yea, but low light kinda slow when AF-ing.

guys..can anybody who are using sb600 in particular tell me what's the best battery to be used for it. I heard about Maha but it's kinda too expensive

I use a SB900, and Eneloop works absolutely fine for me.
