QUOTE(jacky5283 @ Aug 24 2010, 07:58 PM) Hello Si-Fus, SB600 first, then 35mm f1.8...I bought D5000 few months ago, and i love it so much! Next three weeks I will be going to Singapore. I have serious problem in getting nice photos in low light. With a tight budget, I wish to get either a SB-600 or a Nikkor 35mm F1.8G. In order to meet my needs of photographing nice low light portraits and other versatile photography, which one should i opt for? Please share me your opinions of what would you choose and why. Because I got mine in that order. Hahaha... jk. For travelling... I'd say go for the 35mm first. You'll probably dump the kit lens and use 35mm all the time. It's such a lovely lens which gives great photos. Plus, you still have your built in flash for desperate situations. |

But it just seems too good to be true.
I could instantly drop my iPhone order and get this instead. |

Korek korek not enuff, take loan. If retail price is really that high, even paying interest is worth it.
Joking only. Live within ur means is the best. But I'd say, chances are... 98% unreal. |

Depends on what lens you use. If kit... wide open is only f3.5 DOF won't be too shallow. If fast prime, use a tape to hold the aperture... according to your preference. All just to see thru the viewfinder.

Guys... anyone here interested in Nikon AF-S 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G DX?
I'm very sure I didn't hear wrongly, Fotokem in Sunway quoted me RM1999. |

It really doesn't matter what mode you use if the pictures have the effect that you want...

So far, cheapest I've got from lowyat is RM770 lens only. I didn't buy in lowyat tho. Just don't get cheated into buying cheapo filters at a premium price.

QUOTE(CyberianHusky @ Sep 15 2010, 02:43 PM) anybody got this lens I'm a user of this lens. I have to say that the VC is superb, beats Nikon VR anytime. Color is okay too.Tamron AF 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical (IF) Macro (Model B003 N II) (Nikon AF) (Import) it has VC - Vibration Compensation what do you think of it ? If you aren't a pixel peeper, it's a good all in one. Focusing slightly slower, but I'm okay with it. I usually use it with my flash gun, so the red lights from the flash helps a lot in focusing in low light. If you don't own an external flash, you might have some problems using the built in flash on cam too, the lens cause some shadow at the bottom part of the picture. Overall, I'm satisfied with the lens. After all, the price is considered cheap compare to nikon's 18-200. |

Hope it comes out surprisingly cheap like the D3100. I know I'll be upgrading then...
