manual focus, if got the time use live view magnify 2-3 times then focus nicely, if not then have to trust the green dot lol

hey im a newbie here and interested to get a nikon d3000. just wanna ask whether this model good for beginner?
im currently at australia, and the cheapest i can find is around 600aud(after cash back)=rm1680 with 18-55mm lens. izit worth it buy in aussie or better to get it in malaysia? will the release of D3100 decrease the D3000 price? thx in advance =) |

Very user-friendly interface... I would say if you're looking for the same range as D3000, better wait for the D3100.
