manual focus, if got the time use live view magnify 2-3 times then focus nicely, if not then have to trust the green dot lol
*
i use that for fine manual focus biggrin.gif
if dont have time better stick with my 18-55 kit

I heard that macro lenses is not necessary since we can use magnifying? I'm still new to this and hope someone here can guide me to macro photography.

Where do you guys normally take macro photography?
*
for me..at home biggrin.gif

you degrade your image quality when you have a glass element on it
it was not really noticeable though
but my advise is get tamron 70-300 LD DI..it have macro function
and it gives you enough range so that you wont spook that bug or any subject

uh I wanna ask something, how do you guys put some names or marks on the pics taken for copyright purposes. Is there a software that can automatically mark a group of photos?

bro try using a lower iso...higher shutter speed and higher aperture for the moon to realy show its details..
it was overexposed to me tho
let me share my settings for moon shot
Spot meter,1/320s,f8,iso 200
i suggest using manual than exposure compensation in this condition though
