not necessary, both are just kit lens, u better save up and buy some better mid-range zoom, like celz 16-35 or 17-50 or if rich 24-70

what i'm saying its yes VR is important when you are using the long end of a mid-range zoom, but the 18-105mm although it has VR but it's very limited, esp in low-light coz of the small apeture it offers f/3.5 - 5.6

by upgrading from 18-55 to 18-105 just for VR its not worth it, you might as well save up some money get a better mid-range zoom that totally out-class the 18-105 like the tamron 17-50 which offer f/2.8 at all range

we all small small lens only...not like ur 70-200 cis...18-105 no BG also quit balance d..

with flash gun no need say d la....of coz off balance =.=

even my sb-600 also felt unbalanced..

tammy is 17-50 ma

nikkor is 24-70 < ohsum lens

i lagi teruk last time go pc fair illegaldragon got 1 fren d300 + 24-70 ZOMG kena teruk....


lucky its no d3 or d700 if not i think i rob his body + lens d
