THe reasons why the MODS do not allow JB talk is because sometimes the discussions goes out of hand and pirated, cracked and warez JB apps are being raised

These are the prices in Spore if you buy online. Delivery is 24 hours. All approved Apple retailers/resellers will be selling at this price also. However normally these approved shops will give you some free gifts:
16GB : S$ 728 ( WiFi ), S$ 928 ( 3G-WiFi) 32 GB : S$ 878 ( WiFi) , S$ 1078 ( 3G-WiFi) 64 GB : S$ 1028 ( WiFi) , S$ 1228 ( 3G-WiFi) Use this as a guide when buying in Spore. Most unauthorised resellers in SimLim, Funan sells average S$200 to S$300 above these prices - their market is ALL foreign tourists who are willing to pay since it is not available in their country. I was at Sim Lim 2 weeks ago and I saw a transaction iPhone 4 (32GB) sold to a European at S$ 1400 !!! when the retail price is only S$1048 This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 27 2010, 06:14 PM |

Open iTunes/Preferences/Devices and check whether you have enabled auto sync ?for me, I remember it used to auto launch .. but lately, I have to manually launch it Ipad on the other hand does show it is syncing but itune just not launching. .sob sob If itune is not launch, means the program file is corrupted. Redownload it and reinstall from Apple.com |

QUOTE(decentdevil @ Oct 29 2010, 12:54 AM) I am experiencing the same problem as well... All your apps ( except JB apps )n are auto kept at : user/music/iTunes/Itunes media/mobile applications . Even if you delete it will still be here. Previously, some apps were sync to my itunes. I could re-arrange the icons and etc. Lately, when I sync my ipad, it deleted my apps .. tans of them . .arh .. I then realized itunes actually prompt me if i would like to delete the apps, which i blindly click yes.. now, how can i backup those newly installed (Idrectly from ipad) to my itunes? |

QUOTE(ape @ Nov 2 2010, 10:41 AM) ALL Android phones ( on Froyo) can connect to the iPad and use as a wireless hotspot. There is no need for any special apps, or special settings. Just set your ipad to wifi mode and it will detect the android phone ( with portable wifi enabled ) |

QUOTE(PCHo @ Nov 4 2010, 11:20 AM) ok guys, need to ask if any owners hav problems connecting WiFi wif their pads. Mine just keeps saying "incorrect password" even though I triple confirm it is de right password. It should be straightforward and immediate detection of wifi. Never faced such issues with mine since purchased in May'10. Never nreed to enabled any special settings , I use default. The ipad can also detect both my Dell Streak and HD2 ( Android) as wifi hotspots easily ( with password enabled). If you still having issues, possible hardware problem. What is your firmware - apparently older ones of 3.2.1 reported some have this problem. Upgrade to 3.2.2. Mine is still on 3.2.1Tried resetting both router n iPad but it still can't connect. Really pissed... After sorting through de web, found loads of users having de same problem. Should I just get it exchanged? or is there something else I can do to make it work? Added on November 4, 2010, 12:00 pm QUOTE(nickygin @ Nov 4 2010, 08:49 AM) Hi just wondering for those using Digi broadband for the iPad, do you have any connection problems when you are travelling to different states in Malaysia? For me from Johor Baru right up to KL no problems . Before that I was using Maxis - on highway many times, my 3G/GPRS gets disconnected . Digi I found was very stable rarely I faced any disconnect issues. This post has been edited by benny888: Nov 4 2010, 12:00 PM |

QUOTE(jesse @ Nov 4 2010, 07:29 PM) Hi all, Steve Jobs at the last press conference had already clearly said /pointed out there will not be a 7'' for ipad as he feels the 7" tablet is a DOA ( dead on arrival) by other tablet manufacturers. This is what he said :Am interested to buy an iPad now, but some concerns here... iOS 4.2 coming out anytime now, so I wanted to wait for the 4.2 iPad retail set... But afraid that once 4.2 box set is here, demand would be high and will be in a long waiting list again... Should I buy one with 3.2.2 now (that is readily available in stores) and self upgrade later when 4.2 is released? Or should I wait for the 4.2 box set first and risk waiting for weeks or months? I know that it's the same in the end, but there's something about getting 4.2 right out of the box... The upgrade from 3.2.2 to 4.2 for existing iPad owners will be free of charge right? I also considered waiting for iPad 2 (rumoured to b coming out either dec, Jan or April..or never...) but it appears tat iPad 2 with face time n cameras will be in 7" format like the samsung galaxy tab... Something I'm not too keen due to the smaller screen size... Sigh... Decisions, decisions... Any advice from apple fans? BTW, I'll be buying from singapore retail store...and this will be my first apple product... -- Just a handful of credible entrants. Almost all use 7" screen, compared to iPad at nearly 10" screen. 7" screen is only 45% as large as iPad's screen. Hold an iPad in portrait view and draw a horizontal line halfway down. What's left is a 7" screen...too small. There are clear limits to how close elements can be on the screen before users can't touch accurately. We believe 10-inch screen is minimum necessary. |

One can never catchup with technology. By the time ipad2 is out, we will see potential users asking when will ipad3 be out
Buy it now if you need it . Experience the joy and benefit of using it now. Looking at apple strategies of updates their macs, iPods, iPhone I don't think we will see any new iPad until at least till June next year |
