QUOTE(ikan_semilang @ Jan 14 2006, 01:53 PM) Got question here: NF-7S rev 2.0 Got any issue compability with Thermalright SK-7? better check the dimension of the heatsink first before buying.. the location of the cpu socktet is so near to the end of the board.. lastime i bought a cooler master heatsink ( no so big i think) it stuck with the PSU (im using a ATX Desktop Casing) .. and i have to self mod the heatsink a bit to be able to use it

I'm using D26 MantaRay XT @ 2T and I'm having problems getting past 220mhz for FSB , I can hit 222mhz but it becomes unstable after a couple of hours. I'm using KVR Hynix BT/AT-D43's in Dual Channel. They will run 220mhz no problems @ 3-4-4-8. Processor is AMD Athlon XP-M @ 2200 / 1.65v. Any bios other bios which willow allow me to go higher ? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

With some mod. bios like D27 3D fire, you have to softmod the L12 in order to get higher fsb.

QUOTE(StarNet @ Jan 19 2006, 09:09 PM) who told u kenot ? all socket A processor can do L12 mod man .... make sure u correctly connected those pins if not u knw wut gonna happen next bro its for all except BARTON! """ Mobile / TBred L12 Mod. So now you have got all our hardware and determined you have a good OCing mobo i.e. 220+fsb. The next thing we have to do is the L12 mod by wire trick. This is for the folks running the Tbred 133 cpu's and the 133 Mobile cpu's. THIS IS NOT FOR BARTON core cpu's just for the TBred/Mobile cpu's. If you have a Barton and your hardware & mobo are capable, then you should easily go well past the 220FSB. The L12 mod for TBred/Mobile is done simply by inserting a 1 cm strand of telephone wire into 2 holes in the cpu socket, bend it in the shape of a U and insert it in holes that are marked in the picture below. Blue markings at the lower left of the image of CPU socket""" from http://www.logan.eclipse.co.uk/abit_nf7_(s)_v2_0.htmThis post has been edited by Mr_47: Jan 20 2006, 12:21 AM
