 how to mix creatine powder?

i started to take creatine few days back. I wonder what's the right way to mix creatine mono powder. the instruction isn't that clear. I was suggested by the salesperson to mix together with glucose. but the creatine powder didn't dissolve completely. so there will be creatine powder which is sand-like at the bottom of the bottle. it is like drinking sand water. it's awful . can anyone help ?

Creatine doesn't dissolve in cold water,use semi hot water.

Try micronized creatine powder.
For mixing, you can mix with anything that is not acidic.
If its not fully dissolved, add more water and try harder tongue.gif
After reading and reading, I will prefer to use it as post wo.
Now my question is how do you guys measure the 5 gram serving?

usually the measuring spoon is given.....so 1 scoop will do

i use it as a postworkout. i first make some flavoured glucolin and then i place a tea spoon of creatine mono powder into my mouth and den gulp it down v glucolin.

i take 1 scoop 5gram put into mouth than straight away drink plain water.....hopefully it'll dissolve in stomach ha2

or if postworkout...i put it in with my protein blend

The best way to take creatine is to load it first for straight 5 days; 5g (1 teaspoon) 4X a day. This is to saturate your body with creatine. After that, take after your workout together with your protein shake on your workout days only. If you are on hi carb diet, mix the creatine with glucose polymer and protein powder.

you should take it everyday whether you workout or not. But remember to deload after 6 weeks or so to let your body recuperate. I normally load for the first 5 days, maintain for 6 weeks and then deload for 4 weeks.

You don't need to take it on rest days if you have done the loading. Once the loading was done, the creatine could last for weeks in your body after your last use.
If you don't do the loading, you can take it everyday. It is up to you whether you want to take it everyday or not even the loading is done.
You are just wasting the creatine if you do.

Yeah, if you have the provided scoop, pls post a pic. Just want to have a rough image how a 5 gram serving should be.
Currently still using teaspoon. And there are quite a number type of teaspoon (different shape and size).

Use a digital weighing scale to be precise.

Usually you need approx 80g of glucose to spike the insulin.
1 tablespoon of honey contains 15g sugar. So you need about 5-6 tablespoon of honey. lol

If you are not on low-carb diet, then you can try to mix it with glucose polymer like what 4Rings already said.
For me, I mix it with whey only. I usually take it after eating 1 banana (too lazy to use blender).
