All depends on how you take care/wash the jersey.
I personally feel that Lextra material is quite durable. Added on January 12, 2011, 7:38 pmHi guys, I have contacted subsidesports regarding the Italy Away Authentic Kit with the wrong world cup 2006 champions badge. They have recognized their mistake and have guaranteed that the jersey will come with the gold champions badge. This post has been edited by GaryTan: Jan 12 2011, 07:38 PM |

Guys, finally got my jersey printed with the number I wanted earlier
![]() got it printed at ALI BB, looked for Ahmad but he was on leave so some other guy printed it for me. brought it home and realized there was like some dirt on the letter "W" ![]() from what I heard, I shouldn't do anything to the jersey for a few days if not the glue bond will not be strong or something ? any ideas how can I remove the dirt ? Thanks This post has been edited by joonwei23: Jan 12 2011, 09:23 PM |

QUOTE(joonwei23 @ Jan 12 2011, 09:22 PM) Guys, finally got my jersey printed with the number I wanted earlierĀ People say that after applying the namesets, do not wash it for 1 day. But for lextra namesets... to me.. personally (don't quote me on this), I disagree. What I do normally after DIY applying my EPL namesets is I wash the jerseys, spin dry them and then iron them (iron press beneath the namesets) to enhance it's bonding. So far so good.![]() got it printed at ALI BB, looked for Ahmad but he was on leave so some other guy printed it for me. brought it home and realized there was like some dirt on the letter "W" ![]() from what I heard, I shouldn't do anything to the jersey for a few days if not the glue bond will not be strong or something ? any ideas how can I remove the dirt ? ThanksĀ In fact.. when I DIY apply the namesets.. I spray some water on the surface that I want to apply the namesets and then apply them. It helps the bonding.. Sometimes when the lextra letters peel off, the remedy is simple. Spray water and re-iron them. To me personally (again don't quote me on this) I think that the instructions on not to wash them for a day after application should be only for PU namesets. Because of the nature of the glue. Lextra glue is crystal or sand like.. when you apply heat on it, the crystal or sand like glue melts and spreads evenly... Sometimes because of long exposure (old namesets) the lextra glue is not so good. This is where water helps.. The dirt is no problem at all. I've even bought second hand jerseys from ebay and they were extremely dirty at the epl namesets... Instead of white namesets, they look like grey... because of dirt being accumulated on the surface. It is greyish.. this happens also to foam embossed sponsors.. they gather this greyish stain... What I do is I brush them off using my plastic brush.. Being right handed, my right hand holds the brush and brushes the dirt.. while my left hand stretches the area where I brush (using my pointing finger and thumb). The results are splendid.. the 2nd hand jerseys looks almost like new.. when the greyish stains that gather on the surface of the foam embossed sponsors and EPL lextra namesets/patches are removed. Here's example of photos taken when I tried to clean my man united retro adidas jersey. The SHARP foam embossed sponsors were dirty: ![]() ![]() Since the dirt was extreme (not greyish dust like stain like normally how old retro 2nd hand used jerseys are), decided to soak it using vanish power O2: ![]() ![]() You can see the plastic brush that I used.. Scrub it as what I said earlier.. right hand holding the brush.. left hand stretching the shirt's area where I was brushing.. walaa: ![]() Same method above applies to epl lextra namesets.. except that the vanish power O2 is needed only if the stain is too extreme... I've answered both questions that you asked. This post has been edited by schmeichel7: Jan 12 2011, 10:24 PM |

Looks like Inter changed again the badges position on their kit.
Now the scudetto badge is above the Nike logo, while Coppa Italia cockade is below it. Here are the photos: http://www.inter.it/aas/partita/mc?idparti...868&C=foto&L=en |
