hi all.. i have problem & confuse a bit. i tot if by sumting from kb/ud, the item must below rm500 to avoid from getting tax right? but why my parcel getting tax ah? i bought boots from kb (GBP47.++) , england jersey (GBP8.50) plus shipping (GBP25.50). total is GBP81.++. why getting tax ah? is it because of its weight or what? the weight is 1.4kg. anyone hv experience this?

fuh~ after call sana sini, finally i got the answer oredi. i call klia customs jz now and ask for explanation. they said boots got the exception from tax too if below rm500. then the customs guy told me to call UPS. the UPS lady said, its suppose to get the exception bcoz my CIF value is below than rm500. then i ask why im getting taxed? then she keep checking all the documents and their copies, suddenly she notice sumting. guess what? the customs people forget to put an print the exception quote at the bottom of the declaration form. sumting like "barangan yg nilai CIF tidak melebihi rm500 akan dikecualikan daripada sebarang cukai" i guess so maybe bcoz of that, they misunderstood the calculation and the UPS guy just pay as what being stated in that form. so i ask how? she told me to fax the customs declaration form tomorrow early morning for her to deal with the customs.and she said i will get the refund for the paid tax.fuh thank god.hehe but my phone bill sure kaw-kaw lah after this.heheh

i got taxed rm42.12(duty tax) + rm25.00 (disbursement fee) = rm67.12 .

haha yup 'that statement' they forgot to print on the form. just imagine if i juz ignore it, rugi a lot oh..hehehe.haiya this people ah, keep me moody all the day. luckily i tak puas hati & keep calling until get the real people with solid explanation.hehehe..
