I plan to make a transit system once The Nether is supported in Multiplayer. I hope Ghasts don't see through glass so they don't shoot.

they probably will see u, shoot and break your glass passage.. anything as hard or harder than cobblestone will be safe

Which is why I built my fortress in hell with cobblestone or better. Even the windows have no glass and as a result are only 1x1 block holes (that doesn't stop a handful of Ghast spit from flying through and blasting the shit out of my interior. And the doors have to be metal, because wooden doors just blow off in an explosion; also I prefer my base not be intruded by those uninvited non-halal freaks.

My VPS has no sufficient RAM and I can't upgrade till January. I can run at 870MB or 891MB at most but that's still not enough. My server's up, if you wanna play anyway. Just add you to the whitelist.

is there any way i can track the world map? it seems i can get lost easily.

i read that if u want to build a house, build it at ur spawn point. and spawn point button is R. but when i click R, nothing happen. any idea?

Welcome to the game vh_20. Are you playing Classic or Alpha? In Alpha pressing R won't work. Instead, you craft a compass that will point to the spawn.

Get Cartograph

You'll need Microsoft Visual C++ to run that.

i put 2x2x1 water in floor and put a lava bucket inside and got 1 block of obsidia

any way more efficient ?
