They'll get the right mix soon. If not this, then probably next or the one after that.

I smell another trashing tonight. Just a feeling.

I don't watch their games at all apart from against us, so I've no idea at all how they play. Watched one of their games in pre-season against one of the German sides, and I thought they looked pretty fluid. No wonder they keep trashing sides in the league. Malouda, Drogba, Lampard, Essien.. they may lack a bit of magic that sides like Barca have, but they sure are effective.

Hope they get to keep it for another match at least.

It's normal. IMO it's what help set the top players apart. The confidence and would take no bullshit thrown at him. It's a good trait. Just don't get in too much trouble.

A lot of mistakes there for someone rated as one of the best talent around. Just goes to show that even the best 'rated' make mistakes, even the experienced ones. We just need to show a bit more patience and just accept that nobody is perfect.

I wouldn't say wasteful. For the chance he had one on one with the GK, he had to kick the ball early and there was no space since Harper advanced really quick and cover whatever space Berba can aim at. He had another one or two chances I think, but don't remember it being clear cut.

One thing I don't like is in these sort of games, where the opposition is really organized and where Valencia struggle to get into the game is that we have O'Shea playing at RB. Newcastle's LB covered Valencia pretty well all game long.
