watched the pilot.. its nice. like the story about family /humanity though dramawiki refer it as romance.

the lead girl are beautiful (Taeki Emi, watched her on Gold), even her boss is eye candy..

im expecting a very good drama..

Adele song make it better (usually only big budgeted Jdrama use an international pop song. eg Takuya Kimura's dramas)

Even today, this drama still download-able from the internet....truely Legendary....
(I watch this drama 15 years ago but missed many episodes, few weeks ago downloaded this series and able to re-watch every episode)

Iki mo Dekinai Natsu aka Breathless Summer nice intrigue family drama..
Higashino Keigo Mysteries mixed quality so far.. most of it are decent. episode based, using different set of stories and (familiar) casts..

can recommend the top 5 japan series of this year ?

throughout 2012, so far ive watched around 20++ titles of JDrama, some of that ive dropped it halfway.. this is my top 5.

Kaseifu No Mita mysterious -family drama
Legal High comedy -legal drama
Nankyoku Tairiku south pole adventure -historical post WW2 drama
Bunshin (miniseries) mysterious -humanity drama
Suitei Yuuzai (miniseries) crime -humanity drama

Rich man, poor woman. - getting too dramatic somehow..

GTO is getting better actually... hmm... more chicks :3

Finished Kagi no Kakatta Heya after so long leaving JDorama.. Sasuga, when it is adopted, surely 99% a good drama.. The ending was awesome, I hope there's an SP for this..

Already finished Zettai Reido 2..Wow really interesting storyline and better than season 1. All cases very well develop parallel with each other and with one mastermind connected with all the cases. How they do the undercover very realistic and all the techi devices not so overrated but just nice blend with the team..i like the story simple but not empty.....

Overall very good crime, detective drama..i really enjoying a lot all the episodes.. 4/5 star..

I liked Kagi no kakatta heya,

but they have to shoehorn in that DnB song at every murder flashback which doesn't fit like 50% of the time.

i actually liked the bgm LOL

late reply but I've been following this drama. It's flashy and attractive, especially when the lead's company is just so cool~ Ok well, back to the plot, it's quite interesting, expect some competition in whatever software development they're doing, betrayal, and definitely love triangle. It's somewhat similar to korean dramas from what I've heard (I don't watch korean dramas).

So I am following these dramas this season:

Beautiful Rain - For Mana chan really, quite slow, actually kinda draggy with the plot but her cuteness makes up for that.
Higashino Keigo Mysteries - Some mysteries are pretty well-written, while others are just meh...but the different actors/actresses make it interesting.
Ghost Mama Sousasen - not sure whether to continue yet
Iki Mo Dekinai Natsu - thought it was good and interesting at first but the second half is just too boring and disconnected. The leads don't even have chemistry (can't feel anything between them). So sorry Takei Emi, hope you'll do better in ur new drama next season. I don't get why they're promoting her like crazy though. This is her second consecutive drama and up for another one next season. Doesn't she need a break?

Kuro no Onna Kyoushi - might continue, might not
Summer Rescue - for the sake of the two leads, I am finishing this.
Tokkan - quite interesting

This season...I don't know, it's bit disappointing, there's no real gem.

Nagasawa Masami in very sexy mode lately (Higashino Keigo Mysteries and Toshi Densetsu no Onna)

she'll be in Koukou Nyushi.. some sort of high school mystery drama..

2 big Japanese stars..
Makete, Katsu (Ken Watanabe).. WW2 historical drama, im looking forward for it..
Priceless (Takuya Kimura).. Kimura as a poor man..

Agree about Nagasawa Masami, almost like deliberately showing off her long slim legs recently. Not that I'm complaining, she's definitely improving a lot in terms of acting. And I'm glad she tried a new hairstyle (with her hair short) she looks more mature and back when she was in Last Friends, I didn't really like her acting. But that is mostly due to the weak character in that drama. Surprisingly though, I enjoyed Toshi a lot, I think she's good in comedies. Hope she keeps on improving and getting better with each drama.
