Problematic MG Strike Freedom! Another forummer suffered its wrath:





The shiny paint they used for MG SF and MG IJ's internal frames made the plastic darn brittle.

I HOPE the PG suffers from this (because i ain't buying it!).

that for Full Burst Mode or normal one? i nearly want to buy MG SF... i guess i will stick to Freedom only

Both also got the same problem. Brittle joints.

I own the MG version and even though i like the kit but recommend that people skip this kit. There are a few major problems with the wings and the torso.

...and the PG will inherit all the flaws and make it worse with the weight of the wings.

Just like how MG Aile Strike has no problem standing on its own and how the PG Aile Strike can't.

Well since its being redesigned by Katoki i hope he revamps the whole inner frame. But judging from his previous works i'm afraid he might make it even heavier and bulkier

Well the Sinanju stand has a larger base than the Unicorn to show off the Neo Zeon chest plate.

At 1/48 it should be much easier to paint.

The HGUC's gold/yellow stripes on the armour will be a worse nightmare.

im still looking for the perfect gold try a bit of mixture already, still no gold can be nicer then spray type

i guess not. since bandai is now in "milking" mode. so pg sf will most likely using pg strike frame or with minor modification added.

Added on September 8, 2010, 8:06 pm+1. cos mg aile back pack is lighter. pg with more details & size do matters. even pg oo they strengthen the leg joint they still fail to strengthen the waist joint.
imagine with o raiser the will show a look down mode like "hankock" in one piece. lol.

mayb bandai will learn & provide an additional backpack/wing "stand/support" come together in initial release. so 2nd release, ur pg strike will fall backwards.

Oversized skirt armours... Meh.

Nevertheless with the Zeta II-like transformation in place, MG Delta Plus seems not that far away. Again, no bigass FA Hyaku Shiki Kai beam launcher = fail.

let me noe if u can find one too. so far i tried tamiya gold leaf, mr hobby metal gold. both failed.

what do you mean perfect gold? do you mean more shiny gold colour like Musha MK-II/Hyaku Shiki/Akatsuki?

Haha IMO the wings become brittle like that due to the auto-move mechanism they incorporated into the wings (only use small parts to move big and not-so-light parts, thus resulting in the joint snapped). Hopefully PG SF don't go and incorporate the same thing as its MG counterpart.

SF Dragoon Wings are not as bulky as Aile Pack (it just look broad). So as long as Bandai didn't go and put too many details on the inner part of the dragoons, PG SF body will be heavy enough to balance the wings. As for the coated part, maybe Bandai can just put the coated part at layer just b4 the outer armor; layers below the coated part will be just the sturdier plastics)

yesshu.. tried mr.color gold. fail miserably too liquidy. so tried combining the gold with marker gold sangoku gundam marker top with clear yellow coat. worked abit. still fail experiment. want to achieve perfect gold withouth spraying or using gold foil sticker
