I would suggest out macro-ing them and get broodlords since he "gave" u map control, abuse it and expand.

Walling of is pretty standard but sometimes going FE will backfire you if he can get reapers before your speedlings.

Note that when ever the thors are attacking your muta, you ground units should be doing massive damage to him because thors do take sometime killing mutas if they are not bunched up.

This is exceptionally true in a lot of cases. I've learned to back off after I did some damage onto his economy/army rather than going all in. Staying back and accumulate your advantage would have even higher winning chance and lower risk

In most cases Zerg players have to be pretty patient since it's a reactive race

BTW, when you are vs terran, for me especially.
Scout early, if he is doing gas before barracks, it's very likely you will see early reapers (sometimes just a diversion tactics tho).

When I realise I need to defend against reaper, I would get speedling asap, lay a spine crawler to cover mineral line.
It's sad you have to go turn in to defensive when you realise reaper is coming..
Also saw people use multiple queen to defend but I always suck at queen micro..
covering 2 base is even harder, from what I see Idra is doing that he place overload at strategic location for sight and lay creep when possible..

If I suspect reapers, I would prepare a roach warren accompanied by speedlings. Most of the time you could end the game right away when you have few roaches because his base will be quite vulnerable.

Ash second base was oversaturated could've transfer some to the third base. I also notice you researched neural parasite but you didn't use it on battle cruisers.

First of all, your early push would have been more successful if you have speedlings. I will always get speedlings against P and T for surround and harassment.

When you see Protoss walling off, another tactic your could use is going a fast lair and use early nydus worm because they wont have enough army do deal with your speedlings. They won't have enough pylons to cover the fogs in their base too

And you should making hydra's when you see HT and quickly tech to ultras if you can since 3 bases are enough for it. A lot of people keep making the same units wishing that more numbers might win them the battle sooner or later. Also get an early armor upgrade because he has one weapon upgrade before you. This make zealots kill zerglings much faster with 2 hits instead of 3.

In lost temple remember to break the gold minerals rocks asap and expand there. It's easier to defend that expanding to far south. And one last thing, improve your lings micro to pick up the HTs left behind, most of the time you can snipe a few HT before they storm themselves.

That's all I can say, I'm still not that good with Zerg so hope my comment helps =)

Not only pheonix, vikings can be annoying as well. Sometimes sacrificing a few overlords for intel is worth it IMO.

One gate can be easily defended by lings. So FE would not be a problem usually.

Usually when you scouted 2 gates, hover your overlord around there to spot how many zealots are made. If zealots count is 4 or more, you gotta throw down a roach warren else you gonna waste too many larvae on lings to def. And don't ever FE when you see potential 2 gates pressure unless the land distance is really far (desert Oasis/scrap station)

Actually MM army can be easily dealt with with banelings and infestors. It is terran mech that are giving problems to Zerg.

Zerg is already known to be a reactive race so playing defensive is common.

If you kept on thinking other races are overpowered then too bad for you but I think otherwise =)

I'm still using nydus in diamond league. Even though they have vision over their bases doesn't mean that you can use nydus for mobility in big maps like desert oasis or metalopolis.
