One thing that's quite imba about team games is that whenever I randomed Terran I'll just mas MMM and it'll guarantee a win.

It cannot be found easily because it is copyright protected by GomTV, some youtube users have been suspended by uploading that.

i like going mutalisk but many games i lost today because trying to get to mutalisk. just realize that muta is good when you already contain your opponent, if not then it's really suicidal.

some games opponent come already i still have no units. sad.gif

the map Xel'Naga Caverns is horrible for my lings. set waypoint to opponent base already but the ling just get caught only. in short my rush was blocked off cos of that. wasted a lot of time micro-ing. lucky to have won.
*
I usually defend with lings and spine crawlers until my mutas are done - even on Xelnaga Caverns, although is has a fairly open expansion, a few spines and tons of lings can def any gate push until flying T-Rex spawns =)

Most of the time I can gain map control and tech up to ultralisk before Protoss decided to push with their 2 base large ball. Ultra counters everything Protoss built to counter muta/ling, but needs at least 3 bases to pump a reasonable amount of ultras.

Zerg is considered the hardest race for new SC players. I suggest you try Protoss/Terran.

It's not hard to play zerg but it's hard to play it good.. actually same thing la for any race smile.gif

You statements are so contradicting lol. Zerg is harder to start with because of it's larvae management and passive playstyle.

Starting off with T or P is easier IMO.

I go roaches usually against Zerg, if opponent is getting banelings then it should be an easy game

Assuming you have expansion up, rush to hydras accompanied by speedlings if you have an expansion with vulnerable choke such as delta quadrant or Xelnaga cavern (get some spines as well).

If in maps with small choke aligning your expansion such as lost temple, throw down at least 3 spines and def with hydras behind (speedlings are optional).

Even roaches do well against gate pushes after the patch because of their range. I don't think I need hydra anymore against 4 gates

I've also tried going +1 atk lings into infestors the rush to ultras. Works exceptionally well against any MMM drops and early aggression.

yeah i learned my lesson the other day. over confident with mutas.

every other game that i overwhelmed or had mutas harassing, it's a sure win but this guy was better than what I've played against so far. sad.gif a few placed turrets, some vikings and more marines pumped. i can't hit much.

suddenly THOR come out and i still have no roach / hydra structure yet. GG already. lings and muta how to fight thor + mm + viking combo?
*
The main objective of muta is to keep terran contained while you macro up units that counter units they produced to repel your muta. Usually you will get a decent amount of roaches and banelings by the time terran pushes out. I would also make only a few mutas if terran has heavy anti-air (mind-games)

I'm glad that Zerg thread is growing rapidly. Lets swarm other races.

IMHO, most of the time Zerg doesn't need higher tier units to win if played correctly. T1/T2 swarms could end most of the games already. Keep replenishing 200/200 T2 army is scary enough

Don't send them to war, send them to xelnaga towers and ramp scouting on opponent from doors. Still work wonders =)
