i use 4gate against quest_5692 4gate belum habis his stalkers come knocking the door ady

then i switch to use terran but still cant change anything and hes playing random.

hehe you can check out build orders from team liquid and perfect ur build. if u were doing 4 gate, i dun rmb 4 gate involving forge and makes 2 zealot initially...for these kind of strat, its all about rushing as early as possible.

he wan def from proxies and dt but 4gate at same time~

timing: around 5.30

roastchicken, quest memang dun have SEA account one, he borrow his friend one to play with me..

i dno but my version is only 1 zeal 1 stalker 22 probe which makes it 26/26 then throw down 3 more gateways then 3 pylons on the way to enemy base. including 1 down the ramp, walk up wif zeal make 4 stalker. timing i dno adi but just 2 chrono on nexus other on WG.

i realize wif 1 gas only, after 2-3 round you can no longer make 4 stalkers at a time cuz not enuf gas, will bank up alot of mineral, so normally i take a later gas wif maybe 2 probes in it? im not really sure as protoss is my weakest race...just use some micro to get by wif alot of mistakes


anyway watching hero's stream, i found a pretty easy to use and decent counter to 4 gate...1 gate robo into 4 gate, use 200 mineral on warp prisms, additional gas into sentry to FF ramp. then rally prisms to enemy probe line and warp in 1-2 unit when he is trying to go up ur ramp (sentry FF of course) with the WP, you can force him not to mine, warp unit back at home, micro home units. then in front here, when ur 4 gates are ready you will be having a full mining probe line + 4 gate running fully against his distracted army. as CB are still used in WG research, you wont be too far behind...just that it requires a bit more mechanics to pull it out...if base trade happen, warp prisms bring probe to build assimilator behind rocks = winrar. i dno how to do a 3 gate blink properly yet

what u are doing is the older version of 4 gate (before the warp gate timing nerf) as now u can slot in the 2nd stalker which is very important for a few reason: -
- scouting in map for proxy pylons/ probes
- there is 1 chrono on the first stalker btw to deny probe scout
- map control so u can place ur own pylon (when it comes to 1zeal 1stalker 1probe mirror battles)
- hold off the 3 stalker rush (kinda common to see this still)

and ur warp in a bit weird...
basically u will warp in 4 stalkers at some proxy pylon (nt under his ramp)...
after this with 1zeal 6stalker u will poke his ramp while having 1-2 proxy pylon under his ramp (hopefully u will be able to have it up)...
after that u warp in 4 zeal straight into his base using the vision u get...
from there it is basically warp in based on what u got (too many minerals nt enuff gas? warp in zeal, else warp in stalkers or accordingly to what it have)...
u will only have 1 gas for the build to be optimum...
there will come a time where u have 2-4 chrono for ur gates for the major warp in advantage...

as for vs 4gate, 1 gate robo will hold any 4 gate as long as the map have ramp (which sadly some maps doesnt T.T)...
it is weak to other builds though like the 3 stalker rush (clanmates used to spam this on me when i do 1 gate robo -> 3 gate robo) or the stargate pushes (i hate this T.T)...

as for the blink builds, it is kinda vague as there are so many blink variants on GSL at the moment >.<
