maybe you'd wanna try the Razer Orbweaver instead? the 2 products you mentioned aren't exactly new.. but why not get a full gaming keyboard instead?

im interested in Orbweaver too but afraid that it might be overbudget. its 129.90usd so not sure how much will it be in malaysia.

i want to get gamepad because im using laptop so i need portability and dont want full size keyboard for gaming only which is not practical for me and too space consuming.
*
Good Point...

well if portability is an issue then the gamepads are probably the wiser choice... I had a feel of both..

liked the Nostromos as it's more comfy.. but as you've said.. it's rather fragile...

the G13 is flat... not really comfy but very robust... plus Logitech have a very nice app for their peripherals

finding a mechanical keyboard for cousin. seems he like that Qpad keyboard alot. Sabah not much choice dou. i guess have to find other mechanical keyboard dou  sweat.gif
*
I feel your pain bro... Karamunsing KK also didn't have much choice, haven't been there for a while now, though you can order in from LYN I Suppose... stores like CyntrixTech or HeavyArm have lotsa choice for Mech KB.. seek out the one you wanna buy in the Mech KB thread and order from trusted sellers in LYN.. should be okay that way wink.gif

last weekend spotted this keyboard at ALL IT, i think it's RM400+ iinm.

mech keyboard only got 3 types of switches, right?
*
most of the mech keyboards are about RM400++ in LYP... thats what holding me back and sticking with the G510 for sometime actually

There are more than 3 types of switches for mech keyboards but the most you'd find in LYP is black, brown, blue and red. There is also the clear switches but I have yet to see them in the local market

Honestly...if you're looking for a normal gaming keyboard, go for G110...
I don't really like Razer products...the coatings and the cosmetics area arn't build for heavy gamers and will tend to fade/wear off in months...

But...if you're willing to squish out some $$, I'd say Corsair K90...
*
I agree on the G110 the logitech line is quite robust and durable but going for thr corsair K90 might not be the wiser choice.. for one, you're paying more for the brand and being only semi mechanical, it's not teh best of value for money

Well I do agree that the mechanical switches are far superior compared to rubber-dome type but there are features that the mechanical keyboards are missing compared to other gaming keyboards, it is not until recently that they have backlit keys and dedicated gaming buttons... Logitech just started to have one so it'll be a matter of time..

other than that, each one of us have different needs and preferences to what kind of peripherals they're looking for and comfortable with be it for typing or gaming, not to mention that some of us can't justify paying RM50 for a keyboard let alone a mechanical one that cost more than most keyboards out there

For gamer they do want the looks as well so i suggest something like Lingloong promo on Cooler Master mecha keyboard,
should be around RM260-RM280 but you still got that nice lighting that gaming keyboard never fail to deliver.
*
not only looks, I'm okay with a plain looking KB but I'll need at least backlight, audio passthroughs and media control so that feature doesn't come cheap on mech kbs

IKR, china brand stuff, and it's over price too...
*
Well actually powerlogic is a Singapore company and Armageddon is their gaming line... their design is somewhat lacking but some may see it otherwise so it's very subjective

some of their products are priced below what the other brands are offering for the same feature but I agree that its overpriced to a certain degree, would've been nice if they are cheaper like Gigabyte's mouse

Unless they come out an indroductary price for the accessories, I say they're going nowhere.
*
This I agree, they should have done this ages ago especially during launch.

Though it's hard to say that they're going nowhere at the moment.. take for instance if the Starcraft team they sponsored won the IPL 2013 for instance tongue.gif

in the mean time, We'll be scouring for best bang-for-buck peripherals wink.gif Honestly someone ought to challenge Logitech in that section

That's too bad... was thinking the same thing really lolx so now one is gonna buy in the end tongue.gif but Genius brand goes back to the days of Windows 3.1, when 20GB HDD were state-of-the-art lol so they will know their stuff when launching products

I'd say budget plays a role here too, how to get a mechanical KB if you can't afford one? tongue.gif

Hi there sifus, wanna ask which gaming keyboard should i get?

Prolink 3 Color LED Backlit Illuminated Gaming Keyboard (price rm69) or Logitech Gaming Keyboard G105 ~ RM125
Plz help  icon_question.gif  tq.
*
Well the Prolink one looks sweet actually worth to consider but unsure about the durability and software support... Logitech on the other hand will guarantee both fronts. You get what you paid for icon_rolleyes.gif
