@kaigraphy and aspire2oo6: Please relax guys.
There is I-GPS and A-GPS in the Nokia X6.
Without the I-GPS, you'd have to be paying to utilize the Mapping Software.

@xtreme_paranoid: You mean this color? It's called "Amethyst" and it's only available with the X6 8GB. However, as far as I know it's only available in the Nokia Europe website. I can't find it on the Nokia Malaysia website. Maybe it (Nokia Malaysia Website) is not updated yet cause "Amethyst" is a new color?

@AskarPerang & SKY233: Haha, I find this color unique but don't really find it classy though. Just my opinion.

I'm not sure if it's AP or Ori (Avaxx). As far as I know, it's a new color.
Maybe Zitron/Avaxx just started bringing this color in and it's not available in the Nokia Malaysia website yet?

@ping0613: Zitron and Avaxx might be selling the Amethyst-colored X6 but because it's a new color it might not have been updated in the color options in Nokia Malaysia's website yet. So I can't say whether it's original or AP.

@xtreme_paranoid: I can't say much regarding it's originality whether it's AP or not but you said that there's the "Genuine Sticker". Also, please read my previous posts, like I said it's a new color and may not be in the Nokia Malaysia website but being sold by Zitron/Avaxx.

Yes, if it's original the IMEI should match on the phone and in the casing.
Btw, how much did your Dad pay for his Nokia X6 8GB?

@hongchai888: If the battery/charger/accessories are not original but the handset is original and matches the IMEI on the box. Chances are the seller swapped the accessories to provide a cheaper price.

@Codyx: AP and Original have a difference in warranty terms, right?
I mean that we can send our X6 to any Nokia Care Center but we can't send our "AP X6" to NCC, right?

@Borsch Soup: Sometimes you just have to sound it to them (by shouting? rolleyes.gif)
Most of the times it's their staff just being too damn lazy to entertain you.
Typical customer service in Malaysia.. doh.gif

@hengguowei: If there's scratches at the bottom.
It could be due to dust particles stucked/caught in your Capdase-casing.
If there's dust particles trapped in between the casing and your phone, it may cause hairline scratches.
Just my 2 cents. icon_rolleyes.gif

It's just probably dirt. Try wiping it off with a slightly damp and lint-free cloth?
Ps: Do this at you own risk.

@Borsch Soup: They're so lazy, they won't even give you consultation/advice on choosing a new phone.
@hongchai888: We don't need to pay them anything.
We deserve the service if we still have warranty.

@ping0613: If you're worried that they may take "revenge" on your phone.
You should and must fully test the functionality of the phone and it's physical appearance too. If you found out that the phone has been ill-treated by NCC-Staff, it's time to give them another whammy!

@hengguowei: You shouldn't post such things regarding the country in the public forum. This is to avoid creating flame wars/racial tension in this thread. Thanks!

@ne0cz: Nope, you can't play Flash-based apps/games but you can watch Flash-videos from YouTube.
@ping0613: I think he meant how to create folder, which should mean "playlists".

@SKY233: The "Media Key" isn't as sensitive as the rest of the screen.
The "Media Key" has to be pressed and not touched. Just my 2 cents.

@ne0cz: If the sun is really strong and bright and it's right above your head, it might be glaring but you may combat that by putting the LCD brightness to its' highest settings.
For my Mum's X6, it's harder to view under direct sunlight with the brightness at maximum cause I applied the "Matte Screen Protector" which blocks some screen light but gives anti-fingerprint and anti-scratch protection. Not to mention, the phone colors look duller too.

@ne0cz: I got my "Matte Screen Protector" for free when the phone was purchased.

Added on August 18, 2010, 9:32 pmNot too sure about the PJP whether or not it affects the warranty of the phone.
