You'd have to use a different version of Garmin Mobile XT.
Make sure that you follow the appropriate steps in "signing" the app.
I've heard of this problem when running Garmin Mobile XT that hasn't been signed properly, however, I can't really remember the steps to fix it.

Yes, the battery level will deplete quickly when you're running I-GPS.

You shouldn't press the red button to close running apps because the app doesn't fully close. It's better to "Exit" the app through the "Options" at the bottom left.

Also, you may periodically check for your currently running apps by pressing and holding the "Menu-button" at the middle of your phone and press and hold on the running app and exit it. Another method is by using HandyTaskman.

Just my 2 cents.

The best method to determine the difference between the X6 and Vivaz is by testing both phones side by side and run daily tasks like opening the "Text Message", "Contacts List", Duration of phone start-up, shutdown, etc.

The reason is because the difference between a processor with a clock speed of 434MHz and 720MHz is actually quite big (about 1.5 times). IMO.

However, RAM also plays a determining factor in your decision to choose either phones.

Just my 2 cents, I do hope you take my reply in your consideration.

@fastreader: If you're a serious buyer, I'm sure they'd be more than happy.
At least that's the case for me when I buy my stuff.

Btw, is the Vivaz running on Symbian OS?

If you try the X6 and you like it but don't like the price.
You may tell them the price that you got from the other shop and ask them to challenge to price.
You won't die if they can't match the price from the other shop, just walk away after testing the phone but please remember to say "thank you" and give them a wide smile.

@areev19:
Main difference between OVI Suite 1.x and Nokia PC Suite

Main difference is Contact and Message editors !!! With the help of Nokia PC Suite, you can edit your Contacts as well as you can send messages from pc when your phone is connected with the help of Nokia Communicatin Centre, which is not present as of now in Nokia NSeries/Nokia OVI Suite. This is the major difference.

Then some applications like Image Store, Nokia Music Manager and File Manager(phone browser) are there in normal Nokia PC Suite whereas, Nokia OVI Suite has got stand alone applications like Nokia Music(replacement for Music manager in Nokia PC Suite), Home Media Server, Nokia Photos(Replacement for Nokia Lifeblog), etc are present in Nokia OVI Suite.

Applications like NSeries Music Manager and NSeries Video Manager were not there in Nokia OVI Suite. NSeries PC Suite was almost replaced by Nokia OVI Suite nowadays !!!!

Apart from this you can download stand alone applications like Nokia Map Loader, Nokia Software Updater(it will download along with both Nokia PC Suite as well as Nokia OVI Suite while installing), Nokia photos ....

Applications like Content Copier, Nokia Application Installer, Nokia PC Sync are common to both Nokia PC Suite and Nokia OVI Suite.

When it comes to user perspective, they feel Nokia PC Sync is much easier to use than Nokia OVI Suite's sync.

In latest Nokia OVI Suite 2.0.1.35, Some modification has been done, including Sending SMS and receiving SMS.

@SKY233: It's a light sensor. It'll auto adjust your screen's brightness according to your ambient light surroundings. However, you can manually scroll the slider bar to choose your brightness too but it'll auto adjust for you again...

@ping0613: To add to your final point. It also auto-dims your display in dark lighting to prevent it from glaring into your eyes.

@Username is username:
First and foremost, the X6 is a XpressMusic-phone whilst the C6 is a business-centered phone.
To answer your questions:

1. X6 is more responsive to human touch because it's a "capacitive touchscreen" while the C6 is a "resistive touchscreen" (which may require a stylus to operate). Therefore, X6 wins in "touch responsiveness".

2. Both these phones are Symbian S60 5th Edition. Hence, it's a draw because apps will work for either phones (same OS) which are available at Ovi Store.
3. Regarding the virtual keyboards' responsiveness, the X6 wins (please refer to answer 1.)

4. X6 has a 1320MaH battery while the C6 has a 1200MaH. According to the specifications at Nokia Malaysia, the X6 wins in terms of talk time/standby time/video call time/video recording time/video playback time/audio playback time. Therefore, the X6 wins hands-down.

5. Like I said, the X6 is a XpressMusic phone and the speaker lives up to it's name in terms of quality/loudness.

6. The design is up to the users' opinion. So I can't say much but if it comes to practicality/durability, IMHO I'd go for the X6 (candybar/normal) because there's less moving/mechanical/sliding parts when compared with the C6. This comes down to user preference.

7. Regarding themes, I can't say much but users can download themes and use it on either phones because they're of the same resolution (640 x 360 (nHD) and are both the same OS (S60 5th Edition).

I hope this clears most of your doubts.

@IlDivinCodino:
There shouldn't be any affect towards the battery life because the charger or the phone will automatically cut off the power to the battery once it's fully charged.
Even though I'm answering the questions in a X6 thread, I'm not biased towards any model. Heck, I'm not even a Nokia-user.
I am answering based on specifications (READ: Not speculation) I got from the Nokia Malaysia website.

@loty:
I doubt that once you put ANY phone casing on your X6, it will fit on the car holder because the car holder is a very tight/snug fit unless you use something like "InvisiShield".

@aspire2oo6: Yes I know that we can't base a comparison just on plain specs.
However, I was answering his questions and they were all referring to specs of both phones so I just did the comparison based on facts.

@mrfarhatadib89: My Mum can get about 4 days of battery life before requiring a full charge (from 1 bar) when she ONLY uses it to call/SMS with screen brightness set to middle. She doesn't use anything else on the phone (no music/GPS, etc, etc).

Edit: It can last 4 full days.

@aspire2006:
I agree with you but I think if we're referring to general usage, it should last about 2 days, right?
