@hongchai888: Just received the email. I actually already downloaded the same file (from another source) as the file you sent me in the attachment. Btw, how do I install it after extracting from the ".rar"? Thanks in advance.

Added on August 9, 2010, 9:56 pm@hongchai888: Copy the file into which folder in the phone? Can use "Mass Storage" mode cause I prefer to install it from my Mac (which doesn't work well with PC Suite/Ovi Suite)?

I don't have access to a PC (Windows-computer) right now. Seems like it'll be trial version for the time being. Thanks again.

Hey guys, what do you do when your phone hangs?
My Mum complained that her middle-button (Menu-button) doesn't respond when pressed.
She pressed the "Power-button" (Top-right) to shut down the phone but it didn't respond either.
I had to remove the back-casing (battery cover) and remove the battery to force a shutdown.

@ping0613: By "battery trick" you mean by removing the battery?

My Mum hasn't complained of her battery life.
She uses the phone quite heavily for music/navigation/average of 4-5 calls (incoming/outgoing) and has the "Display brightness" right in the middle.The phone can last her 2 full days but she turns the phone off at night (11 pm - 7 am).

I would prefer NOT to use 3rd-party battery due to their reliability.
Btw, the Nokia X6 was just launched only, so quickly you needa' change your battery?
I think that it's the vibration/haptic feedback/backlight/searching for 3G network that really drains the battery life.

@hengguowei: Yeap, that's what I meant.
Btw, in the "Settings"-menu there is a "Light sensor".
Does it really change the brightness of the display according to the ambient light surroundings?

Thanks for the reply. I used it to control the brightness of the screen.
I was wondering whether it actually works because I saw the screen dim suddenly when I brought it into a dark room. I thought it was my eyes... doh.gif

Maybe that's why your battery power depletes so quickly?

@AskarPerang: My Mum has QuickOffice pre-installed in her X6.
However, it requires a serial number/activation to edit documents so I uninstalled it for her.

Added on August 12, 2010, 2:46 pm@ping0613: When my Mum bought her X6, it also came with V20 pre-installed.
I think it's also because you bought your phone before V20 was released but my Mum bought her phone after V20 was released so it was pre-installed.

If you buy a Capdase/Epikcase to protect your Nokia X6.
Would it still be able to fit it the provided in-car holder (that comes with the Nokia-Navigation package)?

Just uninstalled the nUnlock V5.1 because I think it's not fully 100% compatible with X6 FW (V21.00.04).
It made the phone (X6) hang numerous times and the battery trick had to be done a few times....
Anyone with a similar problem?

Added on August 13, 2010, 1:33 am@kyoko4eva: Tumpang your question regarding sports tracker.
Does the app utilize the Integrated GPS, as in do we have a choice to switch from A-GPS to Integrated GPS or must we use A-GPS?

@leyley: Thanks for the reply but I doubt that with the Epikcase fitted on the X6, it will fit with the Nokia-provided in-car holder. Without the extra casing it's already very tight so I doubt it'll work.

Added on August 14, 2010, 10:57 amBut first I need to know how to sign the app and get a certificate.

@hengguowei: Thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure why the nUnlock V5.1 isn't fully compatible with FW 21.00.04, it just hangs randomly and I have to do the "battery trick".

Thanks for your advice regarding the certificate signing.
