Yeah... do I need to charge 8 hours or until full is enough?
*
not necessary i think. this is old method for old version battery. Nowadays new lithium battery should be improve a lot and no memory.

i just leave it there. i also not remember how much hour i charged for 1st time. laugh.gif laugh.gif
actually, when the battery is fully charged, the charger wil stop provide electric to phone. So, u put there charging for 8 hours or even 3 days, the result is still same.

lol...not cheap pasar malam ok...I fully support original one lar biggrin.gif
it's just that it's another model : AC-3X

Added on August 24, 2010, 12:32 am
I think it might actually cause I can feel my battery used up alot faster than what it used to be capable of >.< or maybe because I charge it even if it's not empty or stuff like this...I don't know tongue.gif
*
AC-3X output only 350mA, and our AC-8X output is 890mA. doh.gif doh.gif
Now, noe how to compare adi? brows.gif

QUOTE(IlDivinCodino @ Aug 24 2010, 01:35 AM)
Obviously you're going to get a one sided biased answer when you're asking such a question in an X6 thread lol.

PS: X6 rocks. So yeah, screw the C6. Even the alphabet X is much cooler than C.
*
No wor..i give him a neutral answer. (but got biased abit la... laugh.gif )

Well my charger is ori from Zitron. But a lot of ppl still saying that the battery life gets cut shorter if you overcharge.

How about not charging the battery full everytime? Will that cause problem to the battery?

I am contemplating between:
1) Not charging full
2) Overcharging

Because I come back very late at night after work. I take a shower before that. I'll plug in the charger on my phone and then go shower. When I get back, I just wanna sleep. So should I unplug the charger despite just charging half? Or should I leave it and unplug the next morning?

Added on August 24, 2010, 12:41 am

Haha. Not much of a phone analyst myself. But I do feel offended when ppl compare my phone to the 5800.
Fine, the X6 may be an upgrade to the phone. But I still find it screwed up when they compare my phone to that ugly crap tongue.gif
*
As i said, there is no such overcharging problem, because the nokia charger will auto cut off the elctric current when battery is fully charged.
But, there are some review said that dont leave your battery drain until finish or almost finish (<20%). This will add stain to battery and cause battery to dead faster.

As conclusion, better charge it overnight for your case.

QUOTE(hengguowei @ Aug 24 2010, 01:49 AM)
I do agree 5800 must have been designed by some crappy designers but it has live up to expectations by selling over ?13million units? that's a really huge figure...but X6 is succumbling from lack of sales I believe...that is why Nokia resize the storage to reduce the cost and hence reducing the price...I have the same problem...but I definitely over-charge it since if I don't charge it...then tomorrow my phone will run dry of battery...and that's a really annoying thing>.<

OMG!!! I wanna kill myself for not realising such a stupid thing...Imma use AC-8X...haih and probably just use that AC-3E as a spare biggrin.gif

I wasn't unbiased biggrin.gif

The problem is until today the sellers at the shop will remind u to charge 8hrs before use. I think thats the cause that create confusion with buyers.

yup. most of them still stay at nickel and cadmium-based batteries age. smile.gif

@IlDivinCodino:
There shouldn't be any affect towards the battery life because the charger or the phone will automatically cut off the power to the battery once it's fully charged.
Even though I'm answering the questions in a X6 thread, I'm not biased towards any model. Heck, I'm not even a Nokia-user.
I am answering based on specifications (READ: Not speculation) I got from the Nokia Malaysia website.

@loty:
I doubt that once you put ANY phone casing on your X6, it will fit on the car holder because the car holder is a very tight/snug fit unless you use something like "InvisiShield".
*
where is the website? mind to share it here. I think if we quote this, sure will enhance those doubtful users. smile.gif

Yeap like example my N97 - 1500mAh battery if online/sms/email can last 1 day
If i put on standby can last 1 week haha.

Usually most consume battery is WIFI usage , 3G usage or video playing
*
nod.gif last time i always put 3G network. And my area here 3G network is suck, always searching for 3G. Then finally battery drain very fast. Sometimes not even 1 days already need to charge. yawn.gif And video playing, really consume a lot battery. Open Mp4 for 30 mins like tat, battery adi hot.

Your E72 can last 2 days? If yes, then X6 possible to do so. If not, then impossible for X6 to last 2 days. smile.gif
erm...there are no different between 8GB, 16Gb, 32Gb. Only the memory capacity, color, headset different. Depend on your budget

I have my bluetooth on all the time because of wireless earpiece. Call and receive call around 20 times a day (each call 1-2 mins). SMS and receive SMS around 30-50 times a day. No music. Rarely use wifi. Can last 3 days. biggrin.gif

8GB, 16GB and 32GB has no difference. Only space for application. So it depends on how many sorts of application you're thinking about installing. Like me I just put music. No movies or pictures tongue.gif

So 8GB is enough to rock my world for now hehe...
*
erm...agree. actually if not heavy usage, 8GB is more than enough. But since this model din suport memory card, so go for 16GB will be more secure. if not will headache if wanna add space i future.hehe
