@Massa: I think it should be fine to enter your IMEI number to OPDA's website as many people have done that already. However, I read somewhere that you should not post your IMEI number to the public (like this forum). Just my 2 cents.
*
why should not post? any harm case?

@Jason3399: Urm, I doubt it's got anything to do with "bricking" the phone if it's just "Theme-based mods". Unless you install a "custom firmware" then you better know what you're getting yourself into.

@hengguowei & ping0613: Can't really agree with you regarding the fact that pricing/date of release plays a factor in modding your phone. Look at the amount of iPhone/iPod Touch-users that mod their devices by jailbreaking/unlocking and risk voiding their warranty also when the device is so expensive and just launched.

@Gundam Masta: So far there's no hardware based problems that we (users from the forum) have encountered. It should be fine.
*
erm..u might right in some point. But, u hav to clear that, iphone without jailbreak = everything need to purchase by own money. the money u spend on the apps, adi enuf for u to cover the warranty issue. So, wanna hack or not, just up to you.

Yes, u can flash your phone to others product code. But this is not encourage, since your phone still in warranty.

Btw, I doubt I'll be posting as frequently as before because I just got a new toy and would be spending more time tinkering with it. icon_rolleyes.gif

The screen of touch screen phone, consume lots of battery. So its normal if the screen bright for a long time. And when he sms-ing, he sure keep touching the screen, burden again the batt. (For My POV)
