i've read somewhere that when we lost our phone, we can use IMEI to deactivate it ryte??

Yeahs...last time my nokia phone was stolen i immediately call Maxis and provide them with the IMEI so they can blacklist the specific phones to use with any other telco... rclxms.gif

From what i know telco in countries which suport GSM will have the security itself...probably tongue.gif

Can i used my broadband simcard with X6 to download thing from Ovi store?
Coz if using phone prepaid sim card the charges is very expensive.... sweat.gif sweat.gif

Yeap, you can do that. Just make sure that you set your internet settings on your X6 to the respective telco's settings.

@ping0613: Whether it's true or not. Why don't you just call them (your telco provider) and ask them to blacklist your phone? It won't harm you since the phone has been lost already but it'll harm the thief cause the phone can't be use (if it's really been blacklisted).
