@Massa: If your phone turns itself off, it might be a loose battery connection to the phone. What I did for my previous phone was put a piece of paper between the phone casing and the battery to create tension so that the phone is always connected tightly/snugly to the battery.

erm..yup, if u key number excatly from *#06# , then should be no problem.
do you use another phone imei number to apply cert, then use the cert to sige X6 apps?

@ne0cz: Yeap, I agree with you. It's just a suggestion cause the phone is just 2 days old and I'm trying to save him the hassle of returning to NCC to get it rectified.

@Massa: I think it should be fine to enter your IMEI number to OPDA's website as many people have done that already. However, I read somewhere that you should not post your IMEI number to the public (like this forum). Just my 2 cents.
