Frankly, its not that you don't save Haven. You just burn out the Zerg infestation. You still get to save civilians from being infested in this mission.

I find Haven's Fall an easier mission compared to the Protoss ones, since Vikings pretty much owns any airborne unit the Zerg put out. (And surprisingly, not many Hydralisks around).

Yes, I also think Haven's Fall is quite easier than saving it, the mothership is quite powerful on its own and it spawns other units when you attack it.
Even if you can't clear up the whole cluster of Zerg you can do a suicide rush to kill the Infection-spreading building which has low health when it's not completed yet.

Frankly, from the description by my friend, I find that killing that lady is totally worth it.

I think some of the missions are mutually exclusive. The two I could think of now is the Tosh/Nova missions and the Save Haven/Burn Haven missions.

You get 26/26 if you do only one side of the campaign. You can actually go back and do the other choice if you wish. (With all your goodies that you bought. brows.gif )

Both Haven's fall and Safe Haven are easy. I enjoyed Haven's Fall using Ghost operatives to nuke the shit out of all the places. Had 6 Shadow Ops running and just spammed nukes. When minerals ran out, np I moved over to the other base and nuked it then expanded.

Safe Haven, Battlecruisers > all.

P.S : Yes, brutal mode. They have no detectors roaming lulz.

There's just a teeny weeny little problem with the Battlecruisers tho'.

You don't get them till very, very, very late in the game.

Not unless you replay the mission after unlocking the BC. You can bring all your upgrades back when you replaying earlier missions.

Still, I find that brutal difficulty is so much more difficult. Anyone care to introduce some walkthrough website for me?Lazy to google~

Question on re-playing missions for achievements. I've noticed that upgrades stick, but research doesn't. Example I've got the +2 slots and +1 range to bunker from armory - and these are 'in place' when i play the earlier missions. But I also have the zerg research +extra gun on top, and this one isn't in place on the earlier missions. Is this by design?

[edit] er no it's the other way around. i have the extra gun on bunkers but they can only fit 4 marines. weird.

got leet psychic powers also.

if she still full zerg, queen of blades, why do you think she wanna save the universe?

Ending was a bit too short.

Was hoping for a longer one.
*

agree. other pre rendered cinematics much longer.

intro - long
zeratul vs queen of blades fight - long
raynor's dream - long

ending with naked kerrigan - very short wtf

You should have done Shatter The Sky, since Nydus Worms are easier to manage since Perdition Turrets can take care of almost everything when fully upgraded.
*

yeah i should have done that too. brood lords not nice to deal with. sweat.gif
but the put nukes in cave mission is fun though. biggrin.gif

i find it rather refreshing for the dwarven smithy and nerdy scientist to join the expedition.

Same here, those air units really gave me a hard time.

Particularly the ones which had further range than Missile Towers.
