Am I the only one that found the ending a bit "short"?

Ok, Kerrigan is human again but then?

The "Raynor walks towards the sun while holding Kerrigan in his arms" was okey but damn too short....

Felt a bit "wait? That's all?"

Then waited for the huge credits to roll over since Blizz sometimes have extra stuff after them... nothing...

Story was alright but a bit disappointed by the ending itself.

Ok...so I completed the campaign in Normal earlier.

Then redid few missions using that campaign that I missed (the ones where you ahve to take choice).

Then decided to use the "New Campaign" to restart on hard to be able to buy new armory stuff, unlock other techs etc

Now I cannot go back to my normal campaign at all? it's all gone?

I thought we would be able to switch between the different campaigns we have (like in DoW2)

Well it does looks like starting a new campaign after you finished one erase the previous one and all your time record... it's a pretty retarded thing...
One way I saw to have multiple campaigns at the same time is to keep one save from your previous campaign.

This way by reloading it you can access the previous campaign.

Pretty bad system from Blizz really in my opinion, DoW2 system would be so much better but I guess it was made this way to avoid multiple people sharing an account to play SP...

save file at the end of every difficulty?

yar, basically looks like you have to keep your latest save for each difficulty campaign, otherwise you are pretty much screwed.

Let's say right now I have completed Normal Campaign so I have the last mission victory autosave

Then I start a new campaign on Hard and complete the first mission

The only way to go back to my normal campaign is loading the last mission autosave.

If I do this I got back access to all my normal campaign stuff so can go back to finish other missions (on any difficulty etc.)
But you cannot buy new stuff into armory, research and co.

BUT at this stage the only way to go back to your Hard campaign is to load the autosave of your hard campaign mission 1....

I really find this system stupid, if you make a mistake and override your saves you are pretty much screwed...

Would be good if they can add a system to manage multiple campaign at the same time AND make you go back to the Hyperion once you done with the last mission...

I think only a random marine, it's usually duty of surviving soldiers to collect the dog tags of fallen marines to make sure their death is properly recorded in US army (on which SC Terrans are based)

Was to show the "people side" of Raynor I think.

At first I thought it was Warfield but you see him after that so no ^^

You can redo the missions just to do the normal achievements you missed.
Just use the "Continue Campaign" option at the main screen.

You don't even need to reload your previous save game.

If you completed the campaign, from the main menu just go to "Continue Campaign" under the "single Player" menu, it will bring you back to the whole list of missions and from there you can replay each mission at any level of difficulty you want.

Achievements are linked to your profile so they are not dependent of the campaign.

Even if you start a new campaign you will see still all the achievements you did in your previous one.

Yar, there is really a huge gap between Normal and Hard and then another one to Brutal (On Brutal I found a Siege Tank in the 2nd mission's dominion base......)

I also did Shatter the Sky, Broodlords are quite a big pain in the bottom really and I find land troops to be quite easier to handle than air for terrans for defense, combo of Perdition turrets + bunkers + siege tanks does handle quite well overall with SCVs behind.

Broodlords being able to outrange pretty much all your defense would make it harder to micro I think

What I thought as well. This is way too obvious. Only question is whether Kerrigan becomes good (very likely), or remains the "queen b***h of the universe".
*
Yar, it was hinted previously that even after back to "human" form Kerrigan will keep some control on some small part of the Zerg.

Zerg xpac will be to power her up back so she can control more and more Zergs.
Meanwhile I think Duran will try to steal the rest of the Zerg from her and might be the big Vilain from the 2nd Xpac.

3rd xpacs most probably is the last fight against Xel'Naga.

Frankly, its not that you don't save Haven. You just burn out the Zerg infestation. You still get to save civilians from being infested in this mission.

I find Haven's Fall an easier mission compared to the Protoss ones, since Vikings pretty much owns any airborne unit the Zerg put out. (And surprisingly, not many Hydralisks around).
*
Yes, I also think Haven's Fall is quite easier than saving it, the mothership is quite powerful on its own and it spawns other units when you attack it.
Even if you can't clear up the whole cluster of Zerg you can do a suicide rush to kill the Infection-spreading building which has low health when it's not completed yet.

hmmm about the ending, i think jim raynor did not head shot tychus, he just shoot away the rifle.
then acturus mengsk rage after see tychus epic failed, then activate the marine suit's kill switch.
tychus dying after internal organs fail, then dwarven smith & scientist stenman salvage brain make into robo tychus in zerg campaign.

win?
*
Duuuuuuude, don't keep it to yourself, pass whatever you having around! tongue.gif

Ending screen does show Tychus to be dead, but Blizz is very good are bringing back people who are supposed to be dead, they mastered this skill in WoW (Tempest Keep was merely a stepback...)
See how, but I didnt exactly shed some tears for Tychus, the way they showed him did make it hard to like him for anything but a "brawn without brains" kind of stuff.

The story where he went to jail to cover up for Raynor was interesting but at the end Raynor did not even hesitate to shoot him to save Kerrigan.

Hoes before Bros I guess tongue.gif

who able to tell what is the different between game difficulty ? mainly in formula in doing damage, ie damage 8 to armor 2 should ends up to -hp 6 in normal, what about in other difficulty ? thanks.
*
In the campaign higher difficulty also means the enemies get more advanced troops.

For example on Brutal on the 2nd mission the enemy camp has one siege tank in siege mode waiting for you...

The "Smash and Grab" mission got void rays etc.

AI also have production bonus and will spam units much faster.

but i feel the damage they are doing is hell alot more if you are playing brutal, its not just the upgrade, much more than full upgrades.

Yep, they also do much more damage.
What I was saying about new units in enemies is in addition to doing crazy more damage than your units.

Tychus is officially dead for now, the campaign summary says so.

After this it is unknown if it's directly due to Raynor shooting him or Mengsk punishing him for his failure.

Blizz "could" bring him back in HotS as they do have a serious case of bringing back "dead" people.

As for Kerrigan, it was said before that HotS basically is us powering Kerrigan back so she can control more and more of the Zerg back.

Personally I think Duran wanted to re-humanize Kerrigan so he could steal the Zerg from her (impossible from him to take control of the Zerg with Kerrigan as Queen of Blades).

See how anyway, long long time before HotS...
