I've installed and played StarCraft II on my previous machine which has just broken down beyond repair.

Is it possible for me to reinstall the same StarCraft II onto a new computer and play the game once again?

Yes it is possible, you only need your account in order to play SC2 at any places.

after install (or you dont even need to install at all lol) you can just copy the sc2 folder, and the 2 documents/profile folders (under your windows user ID/program data) and you will have all your settings/saves etc copied over (do note that your previous pc settings will be there, such as resolution settings which may not be compatible with your new pc)

forgot to mention: one of the biggest benefits of copying is that your updated sc2 source will also apply to your copy destination. aka you dont have to waste time re-download gigabytes of patch files

blizzard is one of the few devs who strongly supports Mac. so to answer your question, yes you can sc2 on a mac and join the pc folks
