for Go 4G Connection Manager issue, it is advisable to download and install the latest version from YES website.

for YES ID,yes,can be shared and connected to many devices@users.... be remind that your data usage will eat up faster.

for Yes Life, i have no comments. the app sometime not stable enough...still upgrading so plz bear with it...so better not to hope it is as good as YM or Skype... still new....

To connect to any other wifi devices,ur only options is to choose Huddle or Zoom....NO SIMCARD AT ALL,even if u cry it out.... do google about 3G and simcard limitation....

u can use 1 Yes ID to connect 2 Zoom,but u cannot log on to Yes Life with 2 Zoom at the same time. same with Buzz...if u sign in to 2nd Buzz,the Yes Life from 1st Buzz will log out. only data connection can be used. i've tried it.

Here is a simple example on lowest package for multiple location

Parent home, using Streamyx 512Kb for RM90 every month.
Own home, using Streamyx  512Kb for RM90 every month.

That is RM180 each month. If you use Streamyx 1MB that is RM110. For 2 home, that is RM220.

If you use Yes with Zoom package,
Parent home + Own home for Value Pack 10Gb equal to RM150. Of course the initial lay out is for 2 Zoom modem. Of course, you also enjoy the voice pack as well.

What you safe is RM30 + better speed (depending on location)

Only trouble is the voice is bad. As for the bandwidth, it is difficult to track.

Here is a case in point. Bare in mind, I did not subscribe to value package. Just PAYU. I also check my usage on a daily basis through their web site.

On May, after using for 1 month, my data usage was recorded as 1MB. However, I know very well that I have surf youtube for streaming video. After consulting YES support, they cannot answer me and so I just close and eye.

But on June, suddenly I was tracking the usage as usual until nearing end of the month. Usage was 1GB which was fine for me. Suddenly, the next day I notice I have 1.8GB used on a certain date which was not reported earlier.

So, it is difficult to argue as well as prove who is wrong.

Wow, since when does Yes support team do house call. Just trying to get them on the call center is difficult enough already. After that they will ask me to raise a ticket via email which I have to wait for 3 weeks for a respond (each with trying to follow up with a cut & paste email respond)  and then nothing happen.

yeah, i know what u mean. what i always do when facing this kind of issue (possible blind spot) i'll offer them for testing 1st at their place. but they need to pay for my petrol la. how can i go there for nothing rite,win-win situation. okay for the voice, hm, i don't have Zoom at home so i cannot always test it. but i do have Buzz. with Buzz, always ok. even some of my customer did make IDD call using my Buzz...no echo no lagging.everything okay. if i have the chance with Zoom, i will test it. do give me ur YES mobile number by pm.

THIS IS TO INFORM THAT I AM NOT WORKING FOR YES 4G ANYMORE. from now on, my replies will be as ex-staff and consumers.

okay...for Go Dongle, that device is definitely cannot tahan heat...just try to dload heavy files size and u'll see... the firmware@drivers also not that rock solid...that is why the connection always lost...not like Buzz...quite stable..

for YES Life for windows, that apps, i only use for SMS... for call quality, even at the Lot 10 they are facing an issue... just try to run it and then close it. u can see it is still running on background... hit Task Manager and see by urself..there's 2 running processes... dunno la how they implemented this app, but what i can say, the app is not so stable for windows...

for those who want to visit YES 4G stores, do ur own homework 1st... read everything from their website. for example, Campus Plan. read and make sure u know what is the package is all about... some of their Brand Ambassador is cheating customer by selling Go Starter Pack as Campus Plan. this is a very serious offend. whoever fall for this trick, u know what to do.report to MCMC. then forward the report to their management.

just my advise, ask any questions u want to ask from their Ambassador (or u can call them salesperson). for those do not check ur coverage, put in mind that they are not doing an honest job. just want to hit their target. so find some1 else. pm me if u want some names u can refer to.

p/s : at last, i don't have to work for a company who claimed to be 4G but not 4G at all... only what they have now, faster internet access a.k.a pre-4G...
