Yes life work best under 4G connect (YES connection) and at least 3G connection can support Yes life in Iphone. Lower than 3G the application will keep on sign out and sign in.

Tried to buy reload card at wangsa maju dealer but no stock. Ampang mrr2 Tesco dealer
already closed shop permanently so have to brave the jam to get to Bukit Bintang where
you can find more than a dozen dealers next to each other. Why must YES gather their dealers close to their corporate HQ? Pls spread them out for your customer convenience. Appoint petrol
stations and 24hr store such as KKmart to sell reload cards. YES pening kepala lah.

Hi guys after reading this thread and also going thru YES website Im still confused with the package they are offering..

I wanna get this Broadband for my netbook..
So first I need to get the Go Starter Pack which is RM100..
Then after that should i purchase any other package as well in order to use Internet? rclxub.gif

Please do help me guys...Thanks.. notworthy.gif
*
okay...for the starter pack, u will get RM50 preloaded as rebates. that RM50 must be finish within 2months. if not, expired. it also comes with 1 predefined ID starting with 'A018XXXXXXX'. u can't create ur own desired ID@username but of course u can change the password. just remember, Go Starter Pack is not entitled for refund.
u can upgrade to valuepack anytime u want but i do recommend u to 1st finish up ur rebates to avoid the rebates being burn @ forfeited.

Added on July 9, 2011, 3:59 pmwe are having roadshow until tomorrow at Subang Parade and Mid Valley next week. come if u want to test our services.

just some additional info...

with RM100 starter pack,u will get RM50 preloaded as rebates. the rebates will expired in 2 months. so if u dun use all ur rebates in 1st month,u still have the balance to be used in 2nd months. after the rebates finish, u can choose to go with minimum usage RM30/month or any valuepack (RM68 or RM150)... the package can be upgrade or downgrade as u wish. if u have any question(s),feel free to pm me.

I have a question on EPP student RM28 1gb  100mins call+ 400sms
The problem is how do we use this package ? Am I need a Yes 4G phone /4g device that shown on the website ? Someone explain for me please ...Currently I'm using N8 and wish to use YES 4g on my phone its it possible?
*
to use our services,u will need at least the Go Dongle. but that is only for direct connect with USB port. to connect to any other wifi devices, then u need to use Huddle or Zoom.

Yes Life works on iPad, iPod touch and iPhone running iOS 4.0 and higher. other wifi devices can only use the data connection (internet). Yes Life also can be run on windows XP SP3 and above and Mac OS 10.6.

dinwaja, I have a Zoom modem. Just wondering if I can configure a wireless repeater to extend the WiFi range. The Zoom modem WiFi range isn't strong enough for a double story house. I place mine at the living hall, but am getting low signal at my master bedroom which is directly above the living hall.
*
if u know how to configure, then u can...

I don't categorize as lose out.

This feature will ensure, no people hogging of bandwidth, which in turn better speed for all users.

This is same with phone call, you use you pay. May be the rate of per MB is debatable.

Since streamyx has a package of unlimited free land line call. A few of my relatives keep on use the phone, and talk for hours, hogging the phone and talk about trivia issue all the time.  doh.gif

indeed correct...

As for Cisco ipsec through yes go, got problem in routing. Connection can be established but the routing never take effect.. All traffic still go through yes go.. Seems like yes go application override everything.

I think we can basically give up on Yes. Their support and marketing team is basically hopeless. Anyway, I doubt they will ever come up with a good android phone, maybe a cheap one from ZTE, Huawei or CSL.

Terribly disappointed with their service level and marketing scheme.

I thought I can use the telephone feature using Zoom connect to a normal telephone. That itself is not stable. Hmm, back to TM it seems like.
*
give more details. and also what do u mean by not stable? oh,about the android phone, just dun come up with ur own assumption. totally wrong. we dun use those brand (according to some emails mistakenly sent to me). we also use Cisco equipment for ur info.

QUOTE(dchk @ Jul 19 2011, 05:31 PM)
Well, after 6 months of waiting without any insight on Yes, I guess everything about Yes is about guessing now.

What I mean by unstable. On the same location I have tried with modem on for 3 months without powering off, with testing on speedtest.net. On the same day testing, morning DL speed is 2.5MB, UP speed is 0.2MB, afternoon speed is 3MB, UP speed is 0.6MB, night time test DL speed is 5MB, UP speed is 0.8MB.

I am not referring to the equipment you are using. I am referring to the possible brand of android phone you are using. While the buzz phone may be from Samsung, just look at the low spec.
*
the speed is really like best effort basis. still faster than 3G speed. we never promised that or this speed.
about the Buzz...it just an introduction phone for 4G phone. still remember when the 1st 3G phone was launched? what was the spec and the price?
trust me,ur wait for the android phone is worth. i can't reveal more info on this but,i did play a little bit with the phone 2day. so,wait for the launching date. we still don't know yet when.

dun worry. we are not going to intro some cheapo phone with lowly spec this time. u can consider Buzz as our test product.

p/s : YES do not charge customer based on speed...u should realize that. even other telco speed also like that rite....

for billing kind of issues,i can't give any answer here because i'm not from that deparment...for faster solution,i recommend that u guys straight come to Yes Store.. do understand that Yes Store and call center is not the same. Dun really rely on call center personnel (saying this statement as my own experiences when i was once a call center personnel for Celcom). Same like other telcos out there.
