No, only Rm30 gone, they will charge extra Rm5, not Rm25+Rm30.
It will be Rm25+RM5.

The downside of the package is that rebate cannot be used to buy VP.
*
if we based the price of the Huddle to be rm300( for our calculation),

Package 1) means the the rm400 rebates = rm100 [(rm1200-rm800(credit)-rm300(huddle)=rm100(rebates)]
and rebates can be use to make calls and data on the basis of rm30/GB(data) once we finish the VP data within the 30 days period rite? and this also tied our rm1200 till it is being used up, maybe in abt a year ( lets say we buy a VP68/mth)

Package 2) means the Huddle = rm300 and the Topcard of rm150 +rm9 = rm459

Package 3) nothing much to mention cause the above 2 is much better, esp package2 as it wont tie you to a longer period and lower investment too

something to remember, Package1 can be purchase via a rm50x24 mths easy pymt via HSBC CC (which i hav)

yup, the rebates can be used that way. And yes, you can use back your existing ID. Just need to let the staff know when you're signing up the package.

One thing to note about renewing VP when you've used up your quota before the expiry date, make sure you reconnect the Yes 4G connection to get a new IP address after you've renewed the VP. If not, your credits/rebates will be deducted instead of the quota in the new VP. After getting a new IP address, it should be back to normal. Well, at least that was based on my recent experience.

Yes Support wasn't helpful as I only got their response weeks after I've solved the problem myself. vmad.gif

please note that the RM30 is for 1 month period, YES will check you topup amount at the end of the month.
The amount that will be debited to your account is (30 - x), where x = the amount you have topup within the 30days period. if x more than RM30 then nothing will hapen.

for instance
you bought your GO package on 01/10/2011, the starter pack can last you for 2 months ie until 30/11/2011.
this is exceptional case as starter pack.

the day 1 start from 1/12/2011 to end of 31/12/2011,

if you did not topup any amount and assuming you have 0 balance left, then on 01/01/2012 you will see -RM30 in your account balance.
if your balance before end of the month is RM12, then you will see -RM18 (30-12) in your account.

if you have just topup RM10 during 01/12 to 31/12/2011,
if your account is 0 balance then YES will minus RM20 from your account.
if you have RM12 in your account before the end of the month, you will see -RM8 in your account (RM30-10-12=8)

If you have top up RM40 to your account, then YES will not do anything. the next day 1 will be from 01/01/2012.

I believe I have covered all the conditions.
(1) not topup at all with the month,
1.1 with 0 balance
1.2 with balance

(2) partial topup within the month
2.1 with zero balance
2.2 with balance

(3) excess topup, or VP68 or VP150

Hope this help and not making you more confuse. rclxub.gif

notworthy.gif

so if i buy(renew) a VP via CC or MB2U direct debit on the last day of the VP, i am safe from any deduction fr YES rite?

and my existing balance will be roll-over and if i buy/renew on the next day my balances will be forfeited?

YES rclxms.gif

your account is bought from a reseller, the reseller design it in such a way like "use it fimish it then traw away" this is his selling point, but he do mention you can topup to your account.
He is very good in that packaging for his market segment. notworthy.gif

if you have intention to buy the huddle you might want to consider register another account with your own user name like digilife@yes.my instead of a018xxxxxxx. thumbup.gif

I'm using Maxis 6GB currently at Melaka. Kinda slow IMO. Might want to change but I'm afraid that the speed is not stable here. Anyone from Melaka?

Hi, arshad. I'm from Melaka and been using Yes for about 2 weeks time. So far the internet speed very stable and fast too. It took me about 17 minutes to download a file of 500MB++.

Btw, I'm staying at semabok and I can get full bar signal by putting my Zoom upstair. Hope this info help. Cheer!
