QUOTE(Yuki Ijuin @ Aug 18 2010, 04:52 PM) "Dragon Age 2 thrusts players into the role of Hawke, a penniless refugee who rises to power to become the single most important character in the world of Dragon Age. Known to be a survivor of the Blight and the Champion of Kirkwall," This is sort of disturbingly similar to Mass Effect. "Mass Effect thrusts players into the role of Shepard, a human who rises to power to become a Spectre in the world of Mass Effect. Known to be a survivor/hero/blah blah blah of the Skyllian Blitz," Need to see more of DA2,though.

I dunno. The trailer didn't tell much. Looks set to be the same old bioware rpg formula.

Ok, at least I wasnt the only one who got a bit confused with the weapon and the way he uses it. It does looks like a polearm after looking more, but he does not use it like one. I compare it a bit to the japanese naginata, but even this has piercing attack

I meant the weapon used in the trailer. It isn't actually a medieval weapon.
"Nice source"?
Nice net etiquette.

Well, no point going into an argument, let's just call it a "pointy-slashy stick" and be done with it Trailer was ok for an action trailer really, but the style was a bit too much Final Fantasy-like for the DAO style in my opinion and didnt really made me say "oh yeah, this is DAO universe!", but trailers for DAO1 werent exactly that great to get an impression of the game either.

The devil arms reminds me of Nero. As usual, the story will leave us at the edge of our seat. I have never played a Bioware game where the volume isn't set to very loud. Hopefully another awesome soundtrack.

I was actually hoping for more of an Age of Conan style soundtrack. Now that is an awesome soundtrack.
Added on August 20, 2010, 5:22 pmHey, if I have the original DA:O CD, and it got scratched, is it possible to get a digital download if I reinstall? Since I still have the cd key and stuff?

I think if its activated on Steam or EA Downloader you can download it... Can anyone else confirm this is true, I'm not very sure.

Me playing as rouge..question is, wat does the critical chance of weapons do? Is it chance that a critical strike will hit? Im a rouge constantly doing backstabs, so how does this "chance" play a role? Or is this chance a multiplyer to critical damage?
