Some desc of the game

From the makers of Mass Effect, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Baldur's Gate comes Dragon Age: Origins, an epic tale of violence, lust, and betrayal. It's a fictional weapon. There, done deal.

Ok, at least I wasnt the only one who got a bit confused with the weapon and the way he uses it.
It does looks like a polearm after looking more, but he does not use it like one.

I compare it a bit to the japanese naginata, but even this has piercing attack
